si Fes naman nag-issue ng visa ko. hehe.. andun sa likod ng visa package.. or baka silang dalawa lang visa officer? hehe.

bubbles, si MRU nag review ng docs ko, then sya din nag reply sa email ko nung nag inquire ako ng status ko after the 45-day period.  Then si CLB nag send ng PPR.  But sa MR form na pinadala nila, may nakalagay sa taas "REQ: FES".

for now, i'm still working on finishing my subjects in tax and business law. 3 mos kasi per term dito. so sa december ko matapos tong fall term. then enroll ulit ako sa january for tax2 and law2 for winter term naman. jan-mar siya. enrolled ako sa IAFP (International Accounting and Finance Professionals) Program ng school ko and most of us (fellow Filipinos) enrolled in the program was awarded a bursary of $5k to finance our studies till spring term. bigay ito ng govt of ontario sa mga new immigrants. di ko alam na may ganito nung nag enroll ako kaya i was so happy nung inform nila ako at pinag apply then na approve naman kasi need-based itong program na to.

pag natapos ko na yung tax2 and law2 saka ulit ako makikicommunicate sa ICAO kasi yun advice nila sa akin. madugo ang mag-aral lalo na sa tax. and i've been a registered tax practitioner in the phils for years. doble lng siguro hirap kasi nga i'm working full time too.

sa work naman, nag apply ako online dito na sa canada 1 month after we arrived kasi puro pasyal lng kami nung first month namin dito. naswertehan na napili ako for an interview. di ko nilagay sa resume ko na sa philippines mga work experience ko. nabasa ko kasi yung tip na yun sa lpbautista proboards and it worked wonders for me. sabi nga nung nag advice dun, pag nakita kasi nila na wala kang canadian experience, set aside na agad application mo w/o giving you a chance to prove your worth to them. kaya nagulat yung mga nag interview sa akin nung sabihin ko na sa phils lahat yung work ko. pero siyempre andun na ko so i did my best to sell myself na. just convinced them na kahit wala kang work experience sa canada, you are qualified to do the job and you are doing you're best to gather all the knowledge and facts and info in order to enhance your skills. ako i had three calls for a job interview. di ko napuntahan yung isa kasi nahire na ako noon at malayo masyado. yung first job ko 1 week lng kasi tumawag tong present job ko ngayon and they offered me a higher salary kaya lumipat ako. sabi nga nila super swerte ko daw talaga. siguro sa dami ng dasal ko naawa talaga si Lord sa akin.

ang importante lng talaga madami kayo dalang pera. kasi di mapredict kung ano magiging kapalaran dito. wala din job security kasi at any time pwede kang tanggalin sa work. kaya dapat may contingency fund ka lagi just in case lng. magdala kayo ng madaming gamit. maximize niyo yung luggage kasi mahal talaga dito. di sila nagcheck sa airport ng mga gamit namin. andami kong gustong dalhin pero di ko dinala kasi bawal sabi sa pdos pero di naman pala nagcheck kaya naiinis ako. lahat ng gusto niyong dalhin in the future ilista niyo sa goods to follow. di ko ginawa yun and i regret it. kasi pagbalik ko diyan andami kong gustong bilhin.  di ko lng maenumerate per item. pasensya na.

kuha kayo ng certificate of membership and letter of good standing from your professional body. try to come before your ielts expires so that you wont need to take ang english exam again pagdating niyo dito. kuha kayo ng certificate sa lto na you have been driving for more than 2 years. believe me malaking tulong yun sa pagkuha ng driver's license dito. kami di namin ginawa kaya additional expense na namn. mas madling kumuha ng car kesa license dito.  

that's for now. review pa ko may exams next week.

reyes, u can reserve online... hindi ako familiar sa seminar ng kids kasi kaming dalawa lang ni hubby ang nag-attend, pero you have to pay P400 each kau including the kids. check mo 'to: http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/philippines/visas/pre_departure-pre_depart.aspx?lang=eng

peanuts -- ay oo merong ditong MRU, mabait daw xa. i remember iba kong katimeline dati under MRU mas nauna nakakuha ng medical. medical nagpatagal sakin, i had to wait for 3 months.. ung iba 30-45 days lang

bugsnette -- kailangan saving account o time deposit. d natin alam kelan o sinong client sila magveverify ng funds, pero baka gawin nila so dapat  ma-maintain ung POF nya from time of application to visa issuance...

reyes -- kapag PPR kna tapos gusto mo ng magpa-sched, walang problem dun. punta ka lang dun link na binigay ko tapos hanapin mo website ng pdos. dun merong reservation page for emigrants, dun ka mag fill-up ng reservation. makikita mo dun ilan pa available na slots. before ka magpa-sched, check mo if enough ung available slots for all of you...

I am here in Canada on a work permit and applied for FSW category2 (arranged employment). Our passports were already sent to the Embassy in Manila. Upon release of our visa, can my wife wife just send my passport and COPR to me and do inland landing? Seniors, your advice please.

I think its ok if its only 7 months old. mine was 6 months old when i submitted it to NS CIO. im on the ppr stage already.

deliver thru DHL, collect..so babayaran mo ang ng deliver saka nila ibigay ang pp with visa and copr...itching and excited na lola?
