may tanong naman po ako.we are hoping to pass our application by next week, but to my surprise ngyon ko lng napansin na yung name ng anak ko sa passpor at birth cert at may discrepancy...as well as sa birthplace ng "father" ng mother ko at ng sister nya na nasa canada..pa help naman please anong gagawin ko dto??thank you

san ka magpapass? sa CIO or CEM na?

kng sa CIO pa, if i were u, i would still submit my dox next week kasi may cap na ngayon, baka maubusan ka ng slot, including a photocopy of ur kid's passport (if that's still a requirement, im not so familiar with the new reqmts kasi). then apply immediately for a new passport (pwede naman cguro kasi may mali nga).

when u will be required to submit ur full dox to CEM, just include an affidavit/written explanation of the changes and a photocopy of the new passport.

hello kababayan! I have a question... I am mailing my full docs to visa office next week, but I am having second thoughts on my POF.  My savings account is 7 months old but there is enough funds in it, in fact sobra pa. But the thing is my account is just newly opened (just this year) Do you think it will matter? I need your opinions.... please help

I think its ok if its only 7 months old. mine was 6 months old when i submitted it to NS CIO. im on the ppr stage already.

hello bugsnette, ang result po is after 13 days ng exam.. eto po ung testing dates.. (Php 8,640 po ang fee)..
kaka file ko lng kasi knna. ang exam date ko na is nov 04..

i did, two deed of sale docs but i also had a cash deposit in a bank...bale pangdagdag na lang yung deed of sale..and it went ok naman...

bago lang po October 15 lang, pero ung sa nyo po nacheck nyo kung nabawas sa credit card o na encash na ung bank draft nyo?

my friend's papers were sent to nova scotia first week of june.two weeks ago nareceive na nya yung first aor. i suggest that while waiting complete nyo na lhat ng docs kc padating na din un sa inyo! good luck!

Sa CIO pa lng..we decided to have an affidavit of discrepancy na lng then apply for new passport na nga lng para pag next step na e wala ng problem.thanx mimi for replying

We submitted our application to NS on January 28, 2010.  We received our first AOR on March 16, 2010.  We submitted our documents to Canadian Embassy in Manila last July 28, 2010.  We received our medicals in September 08, 2010.  Our medicals done October 04, 2010.  We already sent our payment for RPRF on October 04, 2010 to the Canadian Embassy, Manila.

According from Nationwide, they already submitted our medicals to the Canadian Embassy in Manila last October 13 (for myself), and October 19 (for my wife, she went to a surgeon for minor surgery).

My question is, how long should we wait for the PPR, and are there any chances of rejection with regards to our visa?

we almost have the same timelines. my med results were sent to CEM on Sept 30, 2010 and my rprf payment on oct 1.  Like u, im also waiting for PPR at this stage.

according to various posts, PPR can be as early as 2 weeks or 8 months and that med and rprf payment requests are just part of routine procedures. they really do not guarantee visa issuance.

but as long as med results are ok and security/criminility checks go fine, all we can do is pray for patience until visa arrives

our timelines are almost similar, my family's med result were sent to CEM on September 30, while nationwide sent mine on Oct. 8(a little late due some rsult problem) and our RPRF was sent on Oct.1, should you received your ppr please have it posted, TY.

been really worried about the status of our POF, now were very confident in this aspect.

do u still have a copy of ur payslip when u were working for the BPO? if so, pwede na yun, just include an affidavit that u can no longer provide employment cert and the reason u got separated from service.

on second thought, 1 1/2 mo work experience is not that long. maybe u can dispense with it in your personal history and just write unemployed, i.e, if that's more convenient to you.

Thanks mimi! Actually hindi naman kasi relevant yung experience ko na yun since I'm applying as a nurse. I was just thinking baka makita nila na nakuha ko ang SSS at TIN ko from that company pero hindi ko siya nilagay sa list ng work experience ko. And I didn't have a payslip. The company issued it but I failed to obtain it when I was employed there. I'm really thinking of just winging it and see how it goes since hindi naman siya related sa work na applyan ko sa Canada.
