hello people,

    I received the PPR yesterday for me and my common-law then submitted those that were required today hoping that the visa office will receive them tomorrow. Does anyone here know the usual time line from the submission of passport to the issuance of the visa? And hey! how much do they charge for the courrier collect when they return to you your passport together with the other documents? Thank you very much. This forum helped me a lot.

Hello po.... I can really feel also how you feel right now.  Pwede po ba magtanong ?    After nag change to DM kayo... tumawag po ba ang Immigration Office? This is based on the contents ng ECAS....  Tinawagan po ba ang courier DHL na may package kayo?
Nag PPR na din po kami and sent last Oct5.  Hoping you can also share your experience...  Congratulations and Good luck to you.
 

Hi barok, we're on the same boat pala.  Actually I have not received any call of which I knew of na from the embassy. But recently, I have received 3 calls from different people na nagpapakilalang they're from East West Bank daw, offering me a credit card.  The first call was about 3 or 4 weeks ago, confirming my address, contact numbers and other details, and I was told that in 2 weeks time I would receive their pre-approved credit card.  Then 2 days after that call, I got an email from CIC re: PPR.  Last week, I received another call, from another EAst WEst Bank personnel naman, confirming my personal data/info.  Then the following day, my ecas changed to DM.  The 3rd call was only yesterday.  TAga East West din daw, and offering me a credit card too. I told her that 2 persons have already called me about it, and in fact, I am already awaiting for the card.  So, she verified from their system if indeed I have been issued a card, but to my surprise, there was none.  So she instead asked for my details, and told me that in 3 days I would be getting an approval for the credit card.  I really don't know if taga East West talaga sila or baka from the embassy na, that's why iniwasan ko na mapikon sa kakukulit nila.  I read somewhere in this forum na people from the embassy daw has their own way of verifying the data and info that we submit to them, so posible talaga na magpanggap sila na somebody else, di ba? So, to end my "short story", to date wala pa akong natatanggap kahit ni isang East West credit card na sinabi nila.  Meron ba dito sa forumers na may ganito ring experience?

Pre, I had the same thing. People from East West Bank called. This was prior to my MR. Could be a tactic huh? Well for everyone, just be polite you'll never know   (buti nalang! Thank God!)

I also applied for FSW under 3152 and got my 1st AOR last oct 5, now I am in the process of obtaining all the orig docs and is planning to send all the needed docs by nov. My questions is I've been working as a nurse in a clinic with pharmacy for more than 4 years, the phone is located outside the clinic with the pharmacist so the owner/doctor put her CP # on my employment certificate so that if they call she will be the one they would talk to.

Would that be a problem?

as far as i know, that would not be a problem... in all of my JDs, my signatory's CPs numbers were written there too

hi mimi!!! grabe, super excited din ako!! ill be attending PDOs this oct 21. COA naman on Oct 20 (tomorrow) pero im requesting to have it moved on Oct 22 (because of the typhoon), wala pang reply pero sana okay lang..

d pa tlga ako packed pero most of the things to bring and follow are already ready---waiting lang to be packed. hehe. konti nalang kulang kahit january or februaryu pa alis ko. haha! .

ill post sa FB about things to bring and follow pag nafinalize ko na, d pa naman kasi tlga tapos pero so far, marami rami narin. hhmm.. about luggages, bumili na ako ng 2 voyager luggages.. mukhang matibay naman, based dun sa demo nila... 2 kami ni hubby to we need 2 pa, un nga lang nag-iisip ako na balikbayan box nlng ung isa, depend nlng sa ilalagay namin...

Ilang days (ayaw talaga ng weeks or months eh ) ba sa experience ninyo from PPR to visa issued/return of passport?  Or from DM to visa issued?  Parang di na ako mapakali...ang tagal kumatok ni Mr. DHL. Sad Roll Eyes

hi Silver! my pssport request was july 22.. sent my passport 1st week of August, got my passport back with visa on Oct 9! so that's like a total of 2 months! but it had to pass 2 different offices, so im not so sure how long if you had it addressed to ur house ... if i were you, keep urself busy..

mimi, for us we were asked to send 2-each canadian-sized photos, the filled up forms that came with the PR, then the machine-readable marroon passports

  oh my, ganun?!?  Kaya pala sa ppr nakalagay w/in 90 days ibabalik. Mas mabilis pa pala yung 2 months mo, imbubbles.  Hirap magbisi-bisihan pag may hinihintay kang nakakakaba.;-0 Ito na yata ang pinaka nakakakaba sa lahat ng paghihintay ko.   Sana lang, magiging maganda ang resulta.

naku silver,  2nd AOR to medical ko nga is 3 months! haha! ang tagal dba? un ang pinaka-nakakakabang waiting time ko! parang each time mag-log in ako sa ecas ko tapos "received by visa office" parin, para ako hihimatayin parati (exaggerated haha pero parang gnun tlga). ang ginawa ko, naghanap ako ng isa pang work, nag-double job ako nun.. so i was literally working for 16-18 houirs a day nun!

basta take it easy, pag PPR kna sure na ung visa mo
