Aspire,

thanks for your input, I haven't sent my application yet.  Pero it does look faster in Manila from what the others say, less than 1 year while in Buffalo its already been 2 years for the others and still no visa.  I plan to send my application after December 6, since my work experience will be 2 years from that date and I need the points.  Thank you.

Alpha Romeo,

"1111 ( Accountant) and NOC ko.  I'm not a CPA pero mostly my work experiences are in accounting field specially yung job ko dito is a full cyle accountant".

I just want to verify kung pwede talaga mag apply under NOC 1111 kahit hindi CPA?

I applied under this NOC but I'm a CPA.  My friend really wants to apply also but my consultant rejected her application saying they only accept CPAs.  She has been working as an accountant for the last 11 years and her job description really qualifies under this NOC.

I felt really happy after reading your post coz I realized there is hope for her, considering you are already on the last stages of your application process.

Cheers!

Hi! Rizela

As long as your job description is the same as the NOC and you can prove it, then there's no problem on to it.

AlphaRomeo,
Hey alpha, did you also sent your initial application to Buffalo?   What is the reason why Buffalo sent it to Manila?  Do we have a choice where to send it  or the main office decides?  Maybe I'll send it to Manila too, for one it looks faster, 2nd because my working visa here will expire in September 2010 so they might want me to send it through Manila already.  Thank you for your reply.

hI! Bonsai,

Are you in USA or Canada?  Did you apply in FSW 3 or PNP?  The answer is depends on these 2.

I'm a nurse here in USA but I will apply as a federal skilled worker and not as a Provincial Nominee.  I don't have an employer yet thats why I am aiming as a federal skilled worker and I don't want to bother my relatives to find me work there.  I heard its hard to find a job also if you haven't passed the nursing exam.

 Hi! Bonsai,

If you will apply as a FSW then you have the option to choose between Manila and Buffalo.  Right now mas mabilis talaga ang Manila but no one knows what will going to happen in 2010.  Sa application you can write your preferred visa office.  I'm not familiar sa nursing, si Reydon is a nurse here sa US, maybe marami na siyang alam, almost done na yung application niya.  Good luck to you.

Hello again. I'm a newbie here and I'm hoping someone can help me here. I am trying to help my younger sis, who is a nurse, to apply as a FSW in Canada. How do we start? I tried the self assessment tool online and she got a score of 68. I believe the passing score is 67 and above. Do we just print the application form and submit it to the CIO in Canada? If so, what's gonna happen next and how long before we hear from them? Please give me some infos. Thanks.
