jerine...

Air way bill...proof un sa DHL, Fedex na sinend na ung docs mo sa Canada....actually makakreceived ka ng AOR pag ok na ung application mo sa CIO Nova Scotia....sa tingin ko....dahil dun sa Bank Draft under your name napending ung case mo...so that means naipadala n ng consultant mo pero nagkaproblem lng....

suggest follow up kau sa consultant..mukhang d nila nireview ung mga pindala nila na application nyo...kung Feb pa un..dapat in process na kau...

other kabayans....please advise our friend jerine....

jerine_56,
tama po ba you initially applied july 2008 with a bank draft? dapat may aor ka na as of last year pa. siguro hindi pa nila naisubmit ng consultant application mo, why february nasa kanila pa bank draft mo.
ask your consultant if they really submitted your application last july 2008. if yes ask for the air waybill.
at if they have submitted your application last july, why do they still have your bank draft? stale check na yun.
you should demand an explanation from your consultant.

Hi Jerine,

Just my opinion, if your draft has been returned, in all likelihood your consultant has your set of application too.  I doubt that CIC will keep your file while it returned your check.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/multimedia/video/becoming_canadian/fraud/fraud.asp

Good luck sa inyo.

guys....question....just noticed that I had an error in one of the schedule...i.e. i erroneously put 1990 instead of 1999...is it ok if i will just change it to 1999 and put an explanation? i still have a copy of the initial application to CIO....and im just planning to submit it as is...

Did you guys sent a new print out or a copy of what you sent to CIO?

thanks a lot...

Hi IDN, I printed a new copy which I sent to visa office since the photocopy I made of what I submitted to CIO was not clear.  Typos happen all the time, if you explain it to them, I am sure they will understand.

cpa2canada,

what does :A decision has been made on your application means??

this is just another of sydney's new addition to ecas. it looks like they have additions to the status everyweek. it simply means they have made a decision on your case as to whether you are eligible for further processing or not. if you have 67 points or more and in 1 of the 38 nocs, you have nothing to worry about.

Hi IDN,

International banks normally issue bank drafts/demand drafts in foreign currencies.  If there is a Canadian bank branch, that would be your friend's best bet.  Otherwise, try Citibank, Standard Chartered or Bank of America.  Bigger Philippine commercial banks should also be able to do it too.

I suggest you friend call them first to know if the banks could do it and what their requirements are. I do not know if you need to be a bank client before they will do your demand draft for you.

Wow this is a nice forum inside a forum lol!

I better include myself here in this forum. In my case I am waiting for CIO sydney's AOR. I submitted an initial application May 26th and they got it May 28th. I am hoping and praying anytime this week to receive mail/email from CIO.
