the phone # they have it is for application inside canada, just people living in canada can call, call center.

so far they didn't ask for anything else ecept that i need to submit our passports within the 45-day deadline.

Glad to know your stand again jtob...
But I also learned that since my ecas states that my file is "in process... we started processing your application on March 2008" only.
& no other advisory is written there like "we transferred your file to NS".  Hence, my file has not been sent to NS yet. 

Like what you have mentioned earlier, I think my file will soon be transferred to NS...
If I'm destined for 2012, I will just be fine with that. At  least, I got 3 more years to fully prepare my finances well...

it seems the embassy here in manila is doing a good job. Super bilis nga eh I never imagined na in less than i year after applying i will be leaving na kaagad. .... But the race is not yet over, until i get to hold the actual visa then that will be the day i should start to think of packing and how to dispose some of my things.....

I'll update you guys soon once i have my passport back.

Hello mga kabayan. My ecas status change to "In Process" lasy August 4, 2009. Now, i emailed CHC London and inquire about my case and they informed me that my Medical Request was forwardwed last August 20, 2009 but we did not received the letter.
Is it possible to have the Medical wothout the Medical request? Thank for all your replies...

you cant take the medicals without the request letter. there are forms attached with your pictures.
you can email them or write a letter to request for another copy like one of our kabayans did.

I agree with jtob. The same thing happened to me. All I did was to go to the visa office and request for the medical request forms. I had to go back 2x within the day though. If you have their contact number, you may make the request first before going there. That way, you don't have to go twice (especially when it's a bit far). I suggest you do the same.

i'm new here, but i've been reading on this forum for quite sometime now and i find it really informative
to mmc and gabs, i've been following your posts because we have the same timelines, here's mine;
           sent application to CIO-NS : Mar 30, 2009
           AOR received:                    May 15, 2009 dated Apr.24 for 120 days docs completion
           Full docs submitted:            Jul 30, 2009 at Manila Emb
           2nd AOR:                           Aug 20, 2009

Hi Viba,
What does your 2nd AOR date mean? Is it the date you actually received the AOR or is it the date of your AOR? May I also know your ecas status to date?

Our timelines are also few days apart. I sent my full docs last July 27. I got my 2nd AOR, dated Aug. 6, last Aug. 12. Still waiting for my ecas to change to "in process" and hopefully, God's willing, Visa office would no longer request for anything else but the medical request soon.

aug.20 is the date i received an email from my consultant for my new file number after receiving full docs submitted to Manila Emb., do not know the date of the letter itself for i am yet to get it from them.are you a Manila filer too?

yes, hopefully our status would change to "in-process" next week for i have learned that the time frame is about 4-5 months from the date CIO-NS transferred the file to your local embassy.
