Hi Jandi, I submitted my full application last July 15. I got the 2nd AOR last August 4. My ecas change last July 28 to received visa office. Hopefully tomorrow there will be changes in my ecas to "in process". Your ecas might change tomorrow to receive and probably get your AOR within the week or next week. Hope that helps. Keep in touch were close to each other timelines. : )

To all who have the same predicament as mine kindly reply. After submitting a complete application to CIC-MANILA thru my representative last March 23,2009, I received another letter from them requiring me to submit additional documents such as the "Personal Net Worth Statement"...which my representative is totally unaware that we have to submit one and the other document which is the evidence of resident status in the US for myself and my partner. What concerns me is that from the start my lawyer reiterated to us that we dont need any legal status here in the US for us to apply for FSW. And based from what I have been reading here in this forum and from other forum and from other lawyers that truly, one doesnt have to be in status to apply for FSW. That is why our application are processed in Manila and not here in US coz we are out of status. What do you think are the reasons why CIC-MANILA requested for our evidence of status here in US? Kindly reply.

hi reydon, first of all, i find it unacceptable that your representative is not aware of all the documents that need to be submitted i.e. Personal Net Worth Statement. anyway, i think the reason why they asked for your evidence of status in the US is because you have declared it in your application. maybe CHC is trying to determine whether your application should have been sent to buffalo instead of manila? did you also submit PCC from the US?

I was able to complete all the documentation and submitted it to the Embassy (RCBC Basement Dropbox) last April, 15, 2009.
Received Medical instructions with medical forms last June and had our Medical with Dr. Timbol in Makati.
Got the request for passport and additional 2 new pictures Aug. 20, 2009.
Entry date should be no later than June 15, 2010 as per approval letter.
Hope this info helps fellow kababayan.
