About the IELTS... Listening should not be lower than 7.. And the accent you'll be listening in the exam is British. And no rewind. hehe  Just to share with everyone, we finally got ur visa. questions po...
1. how long do Nationwide usually send our medical results to local visa office?
2. how do we get passport request? email or postal mail?
3. clarification po... ano ang machine readable passport? ung maroon colored po ba?is that the one needed for visa stamping?

1) Normally 2 to 3 weeks 2) I got mine thru snail mail. Meron kasing kasamang form na kelangan i-fill-up. Kasama yun sa ise-send sa kania together with the passport and 2pcs picture. 3) Machine readable yung maroon passport. Yun ang nire-require ng embassy. |

Hi Hailo, Any feedback from nationwide? was your medical result forwarded to the embassy? Will really appreciate your response...  sorry about that, wala power the whole day dito sa amin.anyways, at the moment wala pa me receive call and at the sametime the status still in process from ECAS.....never tried calling nationwide up kasi sabi naman nila in any case na may need to repeat or something, they will call us sana wag na lang me tawagan..tsk,tsk,tsk....baka rin di pa sila magpost kasi wala pa yung police clearance ko from abroad,sad.... |

maharlika -- nope, medyo nawawala anxiety ko kasi i am making myself busy..  may activities ako na nakaplan for 2 weeks. kaw may medical knb? nope pa bubbles, kc nung tumawag ang embassy sa akin last march 8, advising me na pwede ipahabol ang hubby at two kids ko sa aplication ko kc sa CIO non-accompanying cla at pag pass ko sa local visa office though may nagsabi sa akin na pwede ipahabol, d ko ginawa kc natakot ako na baka hindi pwede, so ang ginawa ko, despite sa statutory declaration ko, nag submit din ako ng letter of query if pwede ipahabol cla, kaya yon, tumawag cla kaya doon pa ako ngabayad ng addl 850 canadian dollars, at nung last march 25, 2010 nag email ako sa kanila, inquiring them about my case, ito ang reply nila:
This is in reply to your email with regards to the current status of your file.
Please be informed that your case is currently queued for the Visa Officer's review. We appreciate your patience and understanding and will advise you of the next steps in the processing.
Ano kaya, positive kaya ito?Sana nga everything will turn out to be okey at sana d masyado matagal kc parang manginginig na ako sa suspense at thrills plus the thought pa about medical, parang d ko na alam kung ano ang dapat gawin sometimes, dami kc maiisipan na ewan, hehehe ...parang nawawala ang pagiging nurse ko nito..
gusto ko na kc mag start sa application ko for manitoba license pero gusto ko na mag medical muna kc pag may medical na parang 90% na may visa na talaga, d ba?
help nyo ako sa prayers nyo ha? |

i would like to ask my fellow CPAs. how true na dapat academic module ang ielts natin? kasi di daw magamit ang GT results once we decide to further our studies in canada esp if we plan to acquire CA, CGA or CMA designation.

i think ok na ung engagement letter as one of the proof pero kung possible ka makakuha ng reference letters from your client mas ok....3 lapit na rin ung sa inyo...just hang on to God's promises... |

hi guys,
so far parang mabilis ulit yung manila visa office. they emailed me noong march 24,2010 that they received my full documents na. Sana tuloy2x na yung mga dreams natin para sa sarili at saka sa family natin. i am planning to take up my medical po sa CEBU. Doon rin nag pa medical yung isa kong kasama sa work.

tanong ko lang po kung sin o dito na waived yung interview sa visa office? what are the blood work up that the embassy is requesting ? i know mayroon yung chest x ray, hiv test... Hope you can help me. I just want to be prepared.
