Hello....
Am an avid reader of this forum.... since november 2008...when i submitted application to CIC Manila.
Personally, I get excited..everytime I read developments of the "forumers' applications, especially if they receive their visas.
I am presently awaiting response from local visa office,after full application was submitted last May 5,2009.
And I'd like to share my timeline.....
Submission of Initial Application: 1st week November,2008
AOR: November 20,2008 (date of letter), but received DEc 2,2008 (regular mail)
Second Letter Received (Jan 21,2009): (dated Jan. 12,2009),advisory letter to submit full application (120 days only), including all
supporting documents , and encouraged to take IELTS
IELTS Exam: February 21,2009: Result: R:7.5, S:7.5, L:7, W:6.5, Overall band: 7
Submitted Full Application: MAy 5, 2009
Medicals, Etc: Still waiting.........

Hi Che, my e-Cas status says --
(CIO-S) Eligibility Review Complete
We received your application for permanent residence on April 15, 2009.
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on May 27, 2009. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
That's all it says. I've submitted full application to Buffalo only on 6/4/09.
I'm waiting for 2nd AOR and hopefully it comes sooner than later.

Currently, im collecting docs like police certi from KSA, Qatar and Phil NBI...hopefully i could submit early before 120 days elapsed..what docs u submitted in Manila Visa office? could you share the specifics of what you sent to them?

I been reading this forum since last year, and found this site very helpfull. I submitted my application Nov. 18, 2008 in buffalo, NY. Received my AOR March 19, 2009. Still waiting for medical request since.

Hi Che! My current status in E-cas i- " Application Received ". I havent heard anything from them yet, still waiting.
My understanding is that my lawyer submitted my full application to CIC-MANILA around first week of April. Almost 2 months now and have not heard from them yet.

don't worry, your AOR is coming anytime soon.
the manila office takes more than a month to open the documents we send.
i sent my full application march 27. they acknowledged receipt on may 14 and took another week for the AOR to arrive to my address.

Hi. started processing of my application by CIC-MANILA last June 5,2008
As of now I didn't receive any letter from CIC Manila but according to my E- Cas my application was received last March 14,2008 before the status was " my application was transferred to Sydney last Feb. 17, 2009 and they contacted me. Until now I didn't receive any letter for my application since my job list was under skilled B of there 38 occupational list.
To all!!! Do I need to take IELTS?

Am on working permit at Canada under 0631. Been a fan of this forum since I started to read it. A lot of helpful information that could enlighten some of our questions. Here is my time line to share .
Applied to NS : March 19, 2009
AOR : April 20, 2009 AOR date Mar 26
Sent full application to Buffalo April 21, 2009
Received AOR from Buffalo : May 11, 2009
Status : Visa office received
Still waiting for the next response. Anybody here applying at NOC 0631.

BTW...guys london office doesnt specifically mention Certificate of No Marriage, only birth certificate.....what do you think? do i need to include that in my full apli? i still dont have the CENOMAR with me...
another question....did you submit the original NSO authenticated birth certi or only notarized photocopies?
im still trying to get hold of my police clearances here in KSA and Qatar....and they are not easy to obtain....hope i could get it soonest....

I noticed that those applied march -november 2008( before the list came out) and was considered in the 38 list. We were requested to submit our updated documents with letter dated JAN 12. Are we in batched? My ecass is still "In Process" since I received my AOR.

Hello Jhun, instructions are quite specific that non-native English speakers take the IELTS. I suggest you take it. There is a thread on trackitt.com regarding an applicant who did not submit IELTS and was assigned 0 points for language ability. The applicant was just a few points short of 67 and since he got zero for language, his application was denied. I just cannot find the thread anymore but that thread was very compelling. It's totally up to you, but if I were you, take it. Unless of course you are able to calculate that even with 0 for language, you will score at least 67. Good luck to you. |
