hi everybody! im wondering if my dox which have been attached with red ribbon by the DFA in 2008 would still be valid if I am going to use them this year. Authentication at DFA really takes time. in my case in 2008, it took me 5 mos. I used the services of DHL as i am oceans and mountains away from manila. normally, it would have been just 2 weeks, however, some misfortune landed on my face... im afraid it would happen again and ruin my dreams..  any help? |

Hi char-bonel,jst to inquire, i sent my application last nov, NS received nov 25 but until nw i ddint receive any reply,im under 3512 like u.saan mo ba pinadala ang sa iyo sa NS o Manila?desperate na ako ang tagal.what s their time frame before contacting them?can i e mail CIC NScotia? Advise pls. tnx.
hi desfer, average response from cio is 2-3 months.just ait for a couple of more days.unfortunately, u may not be able to track ur status unless u have aor.kaya m yan.dadating din yan...initial application by the way is NS.full docs after first aor is manila. |

Hi Guys,
I have a serious problem.. nagiging doubtful na ako ngayon with my application.
My application for PR under FSW1 with NOC 0213 is still waiting for medical request.
How soon do they send out the medical request?
I've submitted my full application to Manila last November 11,
AOR dated November 24, received daw November 16
I got the letter by post mail last December 10.
ECAS got updated to "IN PROCESS" last January 4. And this is the last activity so far.
Problem is... until now wala pa ang medical request. What bothers me most is that our post mail system is not working. Once a week lang yung postman dumaraan sa mailing address ko. The postman said wala lang daw talagang mails na dumadating sa lugar ko so instead he does his rounds at our place once a week lang. What's worst is that he's delivering mails as old as November and December from Makati and Pasay and it's already February. I'm from Cebu City by the way.
Now, should I blame the postman? or wala pa ba talaga? or wala na talaga?
- Sino dito sa forum that is processing in Manila for FSW1 also waiting for their medical request?
- When was your AOR dated?
- What was the date indicated in your ECAS when it changed to "IN PROCESS"?
- If for example the medical request just got lost/still stuck in the post... how many days does it require to have the medicals performed? dba 60 days yata yun?
- What is the color of the envelope? (of the medical request letter)
- Is the medical request a registered mail?
It's almost 1am, and i wish to sleep... i hope sana next week andito na para maging mahimbing na yung tulog.
Asa naman intawn ni oi...

i have a friend who passed all the documents last dec 20 something.. and 2 weeks after she received an email that her documents are now "in process" and 2 weeks after that (1 months) after passing the documents she received a mail (brown envelope) requesting for medical... it was really fast... but i don't know if its always like that.. |

lola_asyang = thanks for the info. wala akong natanggap na e-mail na IN PROCESS na yung application, however I got the AOR by post mail last Dec 10. I also keep on monitoring the ECAS, last time nag bago was Jan 6. I also have a perl script in cron that crawls the ECAS page 11PM everyday to check on my status... if there's a change from its previous, it will send me an SMS and an e-mail. This is how I get updates from ECAS since I got the e-mail from NS. CoolEJ = paano ba mag call sa embassy? tumawag ako last Jan18 but for immigrants daw is thru fax or e-mail, so I sent an e-mail (Jan18) an wala pang response.  |
