hi charbonel,
I applied as well last nov. 25 ,2009 but untill now wla pa akong reply. i'm just waiting.I got my eligibility as GN in Alberta but 2 yrs na hindi pa ako nakapag exam, they wanted me to send my application again for re assessment.and to take ielts exam. They require academic ielts, do the immigration consider my results from academic or i need to take general as well.cuurently i'm in ireland.
I need your ideas plz.
tnx.

General IELTS is needed for immigration. However, in some cases they may also approve ACADEMIC IELTS. In my case, I took the academic module (because I needed it for something else) and this is what I submitted to the local visa office, luckily they have accepted it and did not ask me to do the general.

Hi Char_bonel!

yeah, Filipino ako. Andito parin ako sa Carribean. I just renewed my contract for two more years with the Health Services Authority of Cayman Islands. Kung ma approve yung application ko for Canada, and I pervently praying na sana naman, I'll move to Canada in 2012. I'll definitely go there to take the CRNE though this coming October, yun narin yung landing date ko. Smiley

i guess the birth cert would only be for u, ur husband and ur kids.

yes... sure will...
even immigration else where, they probably would appreciate seeing this evidences.
as a matter of fact, i have included loads of pictures and letters for my common law...
it is not actually obliged on one's part, but it may help the officer decide how genuine is the relationship you are having with your partner... i have read a lot of sharings here in this forum about people including their pictures and letters together in the full documentation.
just choose the best... Smiley

hello fellow applicants!

im planning to submit my full documents at Canadian Embassy this friday.

can someone here please share how the dropbox thing work?
specifically to my co-filipinos who submitted full application thru the dropbox at RCBC tower, makati city

> from what time to what time can i submit my documents?
> where can i place my documents? i have a box the size of a long bond paper where i can secure all my papers, would that be possible?
> where is the box exactly located?

i'm just hoping i can be excused from work and go ahead directly to RCBC tower... with your advice... i will be able to manage dropping my documents there instead of courier... which i think will take a lil longer...

thanks so much in advance! Smiley cheers!a

Hi Kyle, just go to RCBC tower. I have no idea about the operating hours.  I submitted mine within the office hours of the Visa Office.  The drop box is located at the basement (parking).  I forgot which basement level.  (you may ask the security guard).  The drop box is large enough to accommodate packages with documents for submission of full applications.  Just ensure that you drop your documents in the correct category.

You need to have at least 1 year of experience. You are not qualified to apply under FSW.
