Good day po sa inyong lahat.

1. AOR means that your application has been received.
2. Not a problem. You only need to send the xerox of the passport during application. Matatagalan lang pag stamp na ng Maple Visa.
3. Pwde din. Either ways are possible.
Cheers!
Hi! Ask ko lang sana, when do you plan to pay the landing fee? Thanks!

Koji,
You can have your meds done here in KSA. There are authorized DMP's here. You can send your passport to the local visa office processing your application from KSA through courier companies like Fedex, DHL. In my opinion, there is no need to quit for your job, if indeed you would accept the KSA job offer. Exactly the same things done with my friend here in Riyadh. His wife is the Philippines and is the principal applicant, husband is in Riyadh, wife did her meds in Manila, husband did his meds in Riyadh. To get PCC in KSA is a very easy and quick process. I took mine in 5 days time.
Thanks Aspire; you give light regarding my worries about PCC and meds, however, if I will not quit a job and will send my passport thru courier this leaves me working in the kingdom without passport which I think is not wise; btw proposed job site will be in eastern province (ARAMCO Project in Manifa) a very remote place. Hoping getting a PCC in Al khobar is as easy in Riyadh.

i hope tanggapin nila. kasi i also provided them with just a copy of my cert of time deposit. if they issued me a visa without asking for additional docs, i cn say for certain that its acceptable. that had to wait though coz i'll jst have my medicals tonight. keepin my fingers crossed

Hundreds if not thousands expatriates here in Saudi Arabia are applying for Canadian PR. And all of them are sending their passports outside KSA during PPR for visa stamping. In KSA you got to carry your "iqama"(residence permit card) with you all the time, and not the passport. In your case, the safer it would be because you will be in a remote place. Nobody will visit your place for checking, besides the authorities are not doing that. Residency status are usually checked in check points, and even in check points they will just be looking for your iqama and not for your passport. CPA2CANADA, Chris_Lance, who are active members of this forum are both from KSA and have the visa already stamped in their passport. When their PPR arrived they sent their passport to London CHC through courier companies. With Canada PR application, it is a must not to shut door of opportunities while visa is not yet received. Life must go on as usual as if there is no PR application that is under process. There is no guarantee that visa will be granted. Just my thoughts, the decision of course is still in your hands...

cguro no need na pra tumawag, check mo n lng sched nla. the earlier, the better as to the mispelled name, i suggest email nyo agad embassy like i did. in my case, the middle name of one of my daughters mali spelling. so ng-email ako, at ang sagot nila is ituloy lng yung med, cla na mg-correct s records nla sana mkatulong eto sa inyo gud luck . ..

rslcanada,
If you have the old NBI, send it with your relative in Manila. They can go to any NBI offices, some of them have machines where you can just input this and if you don't have any issues, you could get it in few minutes. This is a much simple process but don;t request for NBI now since it will only take few days. You need to provide Police clearance from any state that you live in for more than 6 months. PCC is much faster than FBI, mine took only 3 days.
Hi rslcanada and alpha romeo.. I have the same issue to clarify.. I already requested for an FBI clearance and still on process (8-10 weeks right?).. Do I really still need to provide a state clearance? (I stayed in California for about 10 months as a tourist). I'm currently in Manila, what would be the process? Fingerprinting to any local agency/police station or just with the NBI? Do you have any idea of where I can get a blank fingerprint card? I hope you could help me with this, though I'm assuming that you did the Livescan process instead since you're there in the US, and it's much faster (3 days you said?).. Thanks..

Hi! Ako_si,
You are required to provide PCC from California since you lived here for more than 6 months. Hindi ko alam kung paano ang process kung diyan sa Manila. Livescan kasi is very simple lang. Go to State of California website and maybe andoon yung procedures on how to request for PCC if you are out of the country.

That's what I thought too.. I know that it's mandatory to submit the police clearance coming from the FBI if you stayed in a certain country for more than 6 months, THEN we will be informed by them if they will still require us to submit a state clearance. Ganun po ang pagkakaalam ko at pagkakaintindi ko sa application..
