hi guys,

i just wanna ask if tinatawagan nang canadian embassy yung mga employers natin for example.
talagang malaking tulong yung forum na toh.

i really don't know.  i was wondering the same coz my boss does not know of my intentions yet.  does anyone here know if the embassy checks with the employers (past and current)?

rslcanada,

I don't need to go to Manila to have my medical, anywhere here in Los Angeles ay puwede na.  CIC has the list of approved DMP.  Good decision na kumuha ka na ng FBI.  Don't worry about the NBI mabilis lang yun and yung state police clearance mo dito sa US ay mabilis din.

rslcanada,

If you have the old NBI, send it with your relative in Manila.  They can go to any NBI offices, some of them have machines where you can just input this and if you don't have any issues, you could get it in few minutes.  This is a much simple process but don;t request for NBI now since it will only take few days.  You need to provide Police clearance from any state that you live in for more than 6 months.  PCC is much faster than FBI, mine took only 3 days.

rslcanada,

You need to submit IELTS to be on the safer side. You need to submit the following, Police clearance from all state the you lived in for 6 months or more, FBI & NBI.  Waiting time now to get a reply from CIO-NS is around 2 to 3 months.  Goodluck.

hello everyone!

its been a while that i've been lurking on reading about this thread... i am a filipino as well and is applying as a FSW (noc 3152).

so here's my story... i applied as a nurse FSW, and a common-law and i received the 120 days notification to comply with the documents...

please help me answer these queries:

1. what does AOR mean? hehehe i know its stupid but i really don't know

2. i am applying as common-law. but my concern is that my girlfriend got accepted in qatar airlines as a flight attendant. what will i do regarding the application? will it jeopardize our application in canada? since her passport will be needed everytime she flies.  if ever it jeopardizes our application then maybe she won't pursue the FA thing. but it would be a waste not to. currently our only lacking document is the bank ceritifcate and our job descriptions

3. this is what i thought. maybe i could pursue the application in canada as the principal applicant and she will just follow when she finishes her contract in qatar. please help anyone. i would really appreciate your ideas. thank you

more power to us and God bless.
by the way i am the principal applicant and my girlfriend is my spouse.

1. AOR means that your application has been received.

2. Not a problem. You only need to send the xerox of the passport during application. Matatagalan lang pag stamp na ng Maple Visa.

3. Pwde din. Either ways are possible.

Cheers!

but what if the time would come to pass the passport? and as you know the flight attendants always bring with them their passport for their work.. if she does to qatar, she must be there for 2 years under a contract...

and another concern is that, since she will be staying there would that mean we have to update the place of stay and need to get nbi clearance from that area as well? and if she goes there.. wouldn;t they say that we aren't staying under one roof anymore? she's actually living with me and my family already for almost 2 years...

we are planning to pass all the documents this january though... so if she goes to qatar in february. she it would be okay right?

but if she goes to qatar again.. another dilemma is to be brought up... what if we would be requested of the medical already... is there a place in qatar for the medicals?  Shocked Shocked Shocked so many concerns and queries... sorry about this... please help.

I have the same problem, my wife applied under FSW 3152. We already received the AOR and preparing to send the full application. I am an Engr. involved in the construction of Gas Plant.  Recently I have received a job offer to work in KSA unfortunately I have to reject it. My worries is that the medical notice will come while I am out of the country (even though there are accredited clinics abroad) and I have to quit my job eventually once the request for passport will come (usually companies require a 1 month notice before you can be sent home if you resigned).

Another  concern is  I have to apply for  another PCC again in KSA  and I have to update my documents again. I have applied a Qatar police clearance here in the Philippines and it will take 2-3 months to process; and I read from other thread that applying a PCC in KSA for current resident is not an easy task (specially in my case where-in job sites are usually located in the middle of nowhere).  I have no choice but to wait until the visa is approve; a sacrifice I have to take Sad... the decision is yours.

Koji,

You can have your meds done here in KSA. There are authorized DMP's here. You can send your passport to the local visa office processing your application from KSA through courier companies like Fedex, DHL. In my opinion, there is no need to quit for your job, if indeed you would accept the KSA job offer. Exactly the same things done with my friend here in Riyadh. His wife is the Philippines and is the principal applicant, husband is in Riyadh, wife did her meds in Manila, husband did his meds in Riyadh. To get PCC in KSA is a very easy and quick process. I took mine in 5 days time.
