Hello to all,

I have already landed and I hope those already in Canada can help answer my questions.

1) My dependent is landing only next month and since I already showed sufficient proof of funds for the two of us, will my dependent need to show proof of same funds at time of his landing?

2) To those who are now in British Columbia, does the province require a certain letter from LTO Main office in Quezon City which need to be authenticated by the DFA here in Manila before issuing BC driver's license? These requirements are imposed by Alberta and since we are moving to BC we wanted to know in advance if these are required so that we can have these issued before leaving Manila next month.

we are leaving on march also. san po ba mabilis magpapalit ng CAD. kailangan namin ng 10k in cash, the rest is TC or BD na. thanks!

Hi Elmo 25, naka receive ka na ba medical request? Magka timeline tayo, August din date ng 2nd AOR namin. Until now wala pa kami medical request. Nakapag email na kami after 90 days, ang response:

"We will review your message shortly and if you do not receive a reply
within our service standards (28 days), this means that the information
requested is available on our websites ....
or your application is still within processing times."

But when I checked our ecas status, "received by visa office" pa rin.

Any advise from the seniors here ..... Thanks.

Thanks sa response mo Elmo_25. Talaga yata bumagal processing since last quarter of 2010, akala ko ako na lang di naka receive medical request.At least wala pa talaga lahat tayo magka timeline. Di ba si july4 august din 2nd AOR nya? Naka receive na kaya sya?

Pareho din ba response syo ng nag email ka ng 90 days? Pano kaya yun, di lalagpas na tayo sa processing ng 6 to 12 mos dahil until now wala pa tayo med request di ba? Any comment from the seniors? Please give us advice nakaka kaba mag intay.

In God's time hope we all get our medical request! Mag post ka naman pag na receive mo na ha, or kahit personal message mo ko. Please always keep in touch. Thanks

nagulat nga ako when i read the messages today, gling kasi ako sa LTO nagrenew na ako agad ng license kasi this year magexpire maaga nalang ako nagrenew (expecting maaga makaalis kuno) at kuha na rin ako kasi ng LOA sa quezon city para maayos ko na lahat habang nagaantay sayang araw kasi...sana nga ganyan rin tayo na biglang kumatok nalang DHL at sabihin na may visa na tayo...ahy!!!!sarap
