hi!
my family applied for permanent residency last october 2009 and got our letter from Sydney, NS last dec 2009. how long is the waiting period before we can have a medical request?
My work permit will expire this year October 2010, I read from CIC website that I can still work as long as i can provide them evidence that i applied for permanent residency, the problem is i can't find the article about it. would you be kind enough to enlighten me on this matter.

did you apply on your own? or through any agency or consultancy firm? because you're suppose to get a feedback after 6-8 weeks... |

well i think you could do a follow up... you could write a letter to them regarding your application... or maybe your mail didn't get through them.

hi lola basyang. i did that early this morning, i wrote an email to the CIC office asking them why haven't we received an acknowledgment receipt, i asked them what should we do next since we have no idea where is our application. thanks for your counsel.
