FILIPINOS- 2005 applicants pls update status

Hi to all pinoy! I just want to know your status esp those who applied in 2005.  Have you received any update letter from the embassy?  Please share some info to this thread so that we will be updated.  We are AUG. 2005 applicants but till now, no new yet..  Hope to hear from others.  THANK YOU!

its really frustrating. waiting for almost 6 years and no update letter yet...  thinking of giving up...

Hi, i'm feb. 2005 applicant also, but I just received my visa last feb. 2011 (exactly 6 yrs). May friend ako, jan 2005 but she received hers on june 2010. meron din sa march 2005, pero hanggang ngayon waiting pa rin. It seems that the trend is 1 month for every year  ( I hope not!). Btw, nakatanggap ba kayo ng letter from embassy sometimes in yr 2008, updating if whether or not you r still interested in migrating to Canada? if so, did you send a reply to the embassy? or better yet, send an inquiry to CEM to know the status of your application. in my case I did send an inquiry to cem for my application status, nag reply naman sila, sobrang tagal na kasi. hi jean! yup nag send ng email ang hubby ko. the usual reply nila eh wait daw muna kc priority nila yung latest na mga NOC. mey natanggap kami nung 2008 at yun na ang last. yung friend mo na march 2005, kahit update letter wala sya natanggap pa? kung ganun baka abutan pa kami ng ilang taon pa. i hope not...

hi, nakatanggap din yung march 2005 friend ko ng letter, pero that particular letter kasi confusing, kasi may part dun, nag "if we didn't hear from you within 90 days, we assume that you are still interested in migrating to Canada", so hindi cla nag reply to the letter kasi they assumed na replying the letter or not, embassy assumed they are still interested. naguluhan din ako at first whether to reply or not, but nothing to lose if nag reply to the letter ( i also send it thru email) btw, did u reply to the 2008 letter? sobrang bagal na talaga, you're right priority nila yung post june 2010 application. what's ur NOC?

nagreply ang hubby ko sa letter nila na interested pa rin kami to migrate. Mechanical Engr. ang husband ko. Im not sure kung anu ang NOC nun. Yung friend mo na march 2005, last letter nila yung 2008 from embassy? dapat kasi mey update letter na sya natanggap kung susundin yung 75 months processing na nakalagay sa website.  Talaga nakaka frustrate na mag antay. okay lang sana kung tumatakbo na processing.. I also applied in 2005, but as per recommendation of my consultant, I withdrew it January 2010 and have re-applied based on the new progra. Have started with the new re-application January 2010 and luckily, Am just waiting for my Visa. Nag Passport request ako November 2010 kaya it just took me 10 months for my new application. Hopefully, i will receive my visa this month or early next month.

Matagal talaga ung 2005, last year, before I re-applied, I received a letter stating that it will take me another 36 months for my application.

Hope you can also re-consider applying thru another scheme/program.

Hi, if mechanical engr falls on the 29 NOC maybe you can consider doing what pipoy did with his application . unfortunately kasi, yung NOC ko didn't fall on the 29 NOC posted, so no choice but have to wait, wait and wait, and occasionally sending emails to CEM for follow ups. My March 2005 friend, didn't received any updates since 2008. will keep in touch

have faith everyone. i read from somewhere in this forum that they are targetting to clean all the backlogs by 2012 (sana gawin nga nila!). konting antay na lang yun. kaya hang on. in the meantime, you may also want to read this for information on Canada  Immigration.

hi pipoy. salamat sa reply mo. ask ko lang yung letter na mag wait ng another 36 yrs kelan mo yun natanggap? kasi wala kami natanggap na ganun ng family ko.  Your very lucky kasi nag re apply ka ulit. Lately ko lang kc nalaman mey forum na ganito.  Ilang yrs din kc di kami nag open ng cic website kaya wala kami idea na mey mga bago NOC na priority.  Will wait for this July maybe for the new NOC. Hi. Di ko na matandaan pero it was late 2009 when I was thinking of re-applying kasi nga nag-iinsist ung consultant ko na possible na 2 applications at the same time kasi nga wala naman provision na nagbabawal. I was just worried na baka malito ang VO kaya di ko tinuloy. the letter confirmed nga na pwede kasi naka state dun na I can also re-apply. Pero I've decided na isa nalang ang i-pursue and i-refund ung 2005 application. Yes, I am lucky kasi nabigyan ako ng PPR even if wala na sa priority applications ung accounting dun sa July 2011 priority list. Hope this helps.

hi pipoy! Thanks sa reply mo.  2008 letter ang last natanggap namin from embassy. wla kami nung tulad sayo na ma extend ng 36 months. And its true, kasi until now no update letter from them. Kaya cguro di na lang kami mag expect na masusunod yung 75 months na processing time sa website nila..  Goodluck and I know malapit na dumating visa mo and hello Canada ka na!.. Godbless
