Hi canimmigrant! Thank you for replying to my post my fellow sagittarian.. I already sent the option form last June 14 through fax. I emailed them and they said they already received it. I think I'll eventually be given the BET form. I have just started with my Masterals and I only have 2 years of working experience. Although i have spent more than 8 years in tertiary education because of the two degrees I earned, CNO didn't credit it. Mainly because they are totally different. When I come to the BET part I hope I can get tips from you guys.. The matter of unemployed nurses just shocked me when I saw some posts in allnurses.com. However, just recently I got connected to a friend of mine in Ontario and he said it's not true. Nurses are still needed there. It's just that some of the Filipino nurses he knows are not yet registered with CNO either because of the tedious and/or long application process or because of the CRNE. You are indeed a sagittarian. Optimistic..  Let's stay that way.. And I hope all of the forumers and Filipino RNs applying for CNO registration stay positive as well. Let's have faith in HIM. God bless everyone...
will definitely give you tips, provided maging positive ang result ng assessment ko...  otherwise, la din kwenta ang magiging suggestions ko hahahaha!
di naman sa sinisiraan ko sila sa allnurses... i have been very vocal about my dislike of the forums there... sabi ko nga, hindi lang pala tayong mga pinoy ang talangka hahahaha!... buti nga may mga kaibigan din ako sa toronto telling me that there are still jobs for nurses like us... tama ka, yung iba ayaw lang magpa register at magastos at mahirap daw...
basta it's just a matter of perspective... i am forever positive, if i can manage it hahaha! kaya pag may mga nega, just distance yourself from them... walang hindi nakukuha sa dasal, sabi nga ng nanay ko...

im planning to take the oct 5 exam and as of the moment im reviewing on my own. i haven't heard of primeducation but someone in the forum suggested careerworx. kya lang because of tight budget bka magreview na lng ako on my own. how are u preparing for the exam?

hi. im just new here. will be migrating to winnipeg on july1st. i need some help and suggestions.. hndi ko po kc tlaga alam ang ggawin ko pagdating ko dun.. 1. ano ba dapat kong unang gawin? im a nurse in pinas, 4years experience. with IQAS result. IELTS almost expired.. 2. gusto ko sana makapag work agad khit as aide lang muna sa nursing homes, pero paano ba? 3. mas ok bang mag LPN muna bago RN? 4. pde na ba ako magwork as GN kahit wala pang registration sa CRNM? thanks |

Hi po. I emailed CNO for follow-up on my RPN application. Below is their reply. What's the decision letter all about? eligibility na kaya yan?
Thank you for your email.
Your application forms and fee were received on June 9, 2011. Your payment was processed.
Course descriptions and transcript were received on June 15, 2011 from Our Lady of Fatima University, Philippines.
Your initial assessment processing time is up to 12 weeks from June 15, 2011. A decision letter will be mailed to your address on file once your assessment is completed.

good luck, sana dating na visa mo...so careerworx is in ortigas, dito na ako sa London, Ontario eh, kaya pala di ko maseach eh....i bought the book at University of Western Ontario, here in London, i also got the CRNE prep guide, bought at Fanshawe College, kaw sa ba ang punta mo dito???do you have any materials for CRNE that u can share??? |

"i just wanna ask with regards to additional. nursing education that they requested if ano yung sinubmit mo? since the 1st time the school submitted our verification of education, like TOR, & course description, parang included naman dun lahat? so i was thinking kung ano pa yung kulang?& ano pa ang pwedeng i submit to them..." I think what they mean by additional nursing education would be TOR/diploma if you have finished MAN/MSN. In my case, I have just started my masterals and it would be a long way to go before I finish it. I would not be sending that form instead. So if you have finished MAN then your credentials are what they want you to submit.
This is what I know of. Others may contest if they have a different opinion.
