Guys can you please guide me, nabasa ko na buong thread and I'm aware of the CNO process pero I still have questions. =))
1. How much po total na nagastos niyo from processing up to coming to canada? 2. Kapag nakapasa na po ng CRNE, is that the only time I can process my PR visa or pwedeng at the same time? 3. 4. Kasi nasa US relatives namin and yung NY state ilang hours nalang ata pa-Ontario, Canada.
I hope you can help me guys! =)) thank you and goodluck on your applications!

And guys, I'm confuse dun sa ika-6th requirement para maobtain ng registration sa CNO which is this:
Proof of Canadian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or authorization under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (Canada) to engage in the practice of nursing.

Petition ako dito, kaya wala ako gaanong gastos. Pero base sa mga friends ko, super laki daw ng show money, im not sure kung how much eh... pero show money lang naman un, so pwed mo paraanan... ehehhe Kapag PR holder ka, ibig sabhin immigrant kang pumunta dito... Ngayon like me petition ako, so PR holder ako agad.. pero kung pupunta ka dito as Provincial Nominee or skilled worker, my mga points yun sa level of education na natapos mo para maaapproved ka... meron mga Consultant agency sa Pinas, icheck mo sila at magpaassess ka..

hi paul! baka related pa tau ferrer is my maiden name. Im from San Pedro, Laguna. I am a new landed immirant here in Wiinipeg, Manitoba. The first thing i did when i landed was took the ielts so i can file my credential assesment in CRNM. Unfortunately sablay listening, mataas kasi requirement d2. I got an OB of 7. Seven on all the subtests. Kaya i decided to file for my elibility to the CNO. This week lang, Nursing is my second course and my hospital experience (Emergency room) in nursing is less than 2yrs.I am a registered Physiotherapist in the Phils and also an NCLEX passer. I also had my Advancement Program in Clinical Nursing (6 months) at Philippine General Hospital. I am currently working as a Home Support Worker in the different shelter of the Child and family services here in Winnipeg. Kailangan talaga survival job while pursuing our profession. By the way i needed to take up Health Care Aide training kc kahit RN ka na satin pagdating mo dito hindi ka agad2 makakuha ng work even as an HCA kung hindi ka certified dito. Nakakalungkot, kaya i just hope paul na swertehin din ako kc ferrer din ako I i have a long way to go kasi kakapasa ko pa lang ng application ko 2 days ago at inabot ko na ang $678. Kaya mga kababayan lets pray for each other na maging lenient na sila sa mga IENs tulad natin para eligible na tayong lahat!! God Bless

Pls. enlighten me on this one ( sa writing ako medyo mababa kaya umaasa ako dun sa sinasabi nilang 'standard error of measurement' he he) Thanks.

NCSBN and Pearson VUE to bring NCLEX-RN Examination to Canada 12/8/2011

Media Contact for NCSBN Dawn M. Kappel Director, Marketing & Communications 312.525.3667 direct 312.279.1034 fax dkappel @ ncsbn.org
Chicago — The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) and Pearson VUE, the electronic certification and licensure testing business of Pearson, announced today that the NCLEX-RN® Examination was selected by the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) and nine other Canadian registered nurse regulatory bodies for utilization by these entities as a licensure requirement.
“NCSBN's selection as the vendor is a recognition of the NCLEX® as the preeminent examination of its kind and that NCSBN is uniquely qualified to provide a psychometrically sound and legally defensible computerized adaptive test,” comments NCSBN Board of Directors President Myra A. Broadway, JD, MS, RN, executive director, Maine State Board of Nursing.
The NCLEX-RN Examination is offered in 10 countries around the world for the purpose of domestic licensure in the U.S. The selection of NCLEX by Canadian nursing regulators marks the first time that the exam will be used for the purpose of licensure in another country. Each Canadian province (excluding Quebec) will individually make the decision to contract with NCSBN and the NCLEX-RN Examination will be offered at Pearson Professional Centers throughout Canadian provinces that have contracted with NCSBN for its delivery.
“We are honored to be part of this initiative to bring the NCLEX to a broader global audience,” added Robert Whelan, Pearson VUE president and CEO. “By transitioning to the computer-based NCLEX, aspiring Canadian nurses will have greater flexibility in scheduling their tests and will be able to take their exam at Pearson Professional Centers throughout Canada versus the handful of dates and times that are currently offered for the paper and pencil test.”
About NCSBN
The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) is a not-for-profit organization whose members include the boards of nursing in the 50 states, the District of Columbia and four U.S. territories — American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands and the Virgin Islands. There are also nine associate members. Mission: NCSBN provides education, service and research through collaborative leadership to promote evidence-based regulatory excellence for patient safety and public protection.
About Pearson VUE
