I think, the decision will be up to the credentials assessment body so if she is interested, try nya mag-inquire at magpaassess. Meron namang mga free assessment gaya ng CMA Ontario...

Nasa Dubai pa po kami waiting for MR. Plan namin mag land sa Edmonton kasi dun ako me relative kaya sa Alberta ako nagpa-assess ng CGA. Kung Calgary bound ka CGA or CA Alberta ka rin magpapa-assess kung sakali. Sayang, walang amnesty nung time na nagpakuha ako pro ok na rin at least natapos na. Good luck! I read sa website ng PICPA, may link dun about amnesty for membership, starting aug. this year till march 2011, they have an amnesty na 1K lang bayaran covered na ang current year membership mo and the arrears

hi! i've read in the newsletter of Filipino CPA's in canada that US CPA is also recognized there. i think canada and US have reciprocity agreement. it gives leverage as much as CA, CGA or CA does. |

I noticed that the big trend in the BIG four firms in canada
is to send off there employee's to pass the CA UFE exams

am not sure of that. better call them before u go to save resources  contact nos. in picpa webpage available. by the way, picpa convention for this year will be at ilo-ilo city in late november. who wants to go? gusto ko sana. (might be the last before visa issuance, hopefully).  |

That is right rizela..  I think ang mga CPA na nagland na may mga trabaho na kasi busy na cla at di na makavisit sa thread na to.. I think we have a good job market,, just my thought...hehehe.. meron kasi akong na receive na email from one employer dun lately lang asking whether tapos na ba daw ang immigration papers ko at kung ready na ba daw ako ma relocate sa canada.. Nag apply ako dun parang two months back pa, nag tatry try lang baka sakaling may mag ka interest before landing..ayun meron naman nag rereply mangilan ngilan.. |
