DO i have to include my spouse who is not in canada and is still waiting to be a PR in canada ?

we recently got married and she have been given the initial approval from canada but the appplication is in visa office NEWDELHI.
NOW i wanted to know lik if i have to write her name while filing the tax.

NEED HELP thank you.

Depending on when you got married.  If you got married in 2010 then you have to list her as your spouse, non resident and any net income that she earned for the year....If you got married in 2011 then no, but you should still notify the government that you are married and going thru the PR process!!

You have to call them, and fill out paperwork, I had my MP do it all for me, that way I knew it was done properly
