Hi, Im wondering if i could file for my brother to come and live with me in canada. Im a canadian citizen and ive been living here for 13 years. My little brother is 20 years of age as of Aug 13 and he is currently in school. The thing is he is an orphan. He is/was dependent on my mother but she passed away due to cancer in August of this year and our father died sometime ago due a heart condition. He currently lives in Jamaica and needs assistance. Can u guys please provide some information in this regard. thanks in advance

Sorry, to be sponsored as an orphan, he must be under 18.  The only way he could be sponsored is if you are single, have no children, your parents/grandparents are deceased, you don't have a brother/sister/aunt/uncle/nephew/niece living in Canada.

If you don't meet the requirements as listed by PMM, it is also possible for you to sponsor him under a PNP if you have been living in SK or MB for at least a year and your brother meets certain conditions for education and work experience which I am sure he doesn't yet if he is 20 and still studying.  You could however work at meeting them.
