Dear friends,
Buffalo VO has been transferring files to other VOs since September 2011. Lets form a group here to track our timelines, progress and experiences.
I received an e-mail from Buffalo VO on 13 October 2011 that my file has been transferred to New York. My timelines are given in my signature block. Lets hope these transfers truely expedite our long-pending cases. Our lives have been put on hold for quite some time.

Thanks for starting this thread, just checked my status and it says
We transferred your application to the New York off on Feb 24, 2010 . The New York office may contact you.
We transferred your application to the New York off on Oct 5, 2011 . The New York office may contact you.
I think they did some mistake the first line should say Buffalo office.. as it was saying earlier.
Now lets track the timelines from here.. my status remains In Progress

I just want to remind you that my file transferred to NY on Oct. 13 but I have a question for you Vermas regarding your friend that have been called for the interview: How long they take to call him for interview after his file transfer and what details about his case (i.e., do he study, work, his original country, do he have family or by himself...etc).

He was my classmate at PG study in Canada and is also back in India as me. His file was transferred to NY last year but got the interview call two weeks back. I have applied for CAIPS yesterday to find out status of my file at the time of its tranfer from Buffalo to NY. Cheers. Hi every body,
