Thanks Pasi. Looking at the statistics, it looks like, 23 Sep cases are done and 24 cases have been picked up. Either all 24 Sep cases were done yesterday or some may have been left. So, today 24 Sep cases will be completed and 25 Sep cases will be started too. Which means, next will be 28 Sep cases (as 26 and 27 Sep were weekends). So, it may well be a Thanksgiving gift ;-) Gear up nz2ca.

Garian4u, I applied on sept 28 too and got my package back a couple of weeks ago. I suggest you to review your app just to make sure you have no mistakes, otherwise be patience you'll get the ARO soon. |

@ garian4u- nothing yet until this moment. i'm actually a bit worried now because my husband told me that my timeline is actually 24th Sept and not 28th  @ ELAR- i've reviewed my application so many times and so far i think everything is all good, unless not good enough for immigration |

nz2ca, don't worry if you don't see a flaw in your application. Going by other statistics, if your aplication had problems, it would have been returned earlier. Taking more time is actually a good sign, as there's a high chance that you will get an AOR. Is there a way for you to find out if your DD was encashed. For me, it's painful and hence I have given up on the idea after 2 attempts. BOA didn't have a way of issuing Canadian funds locally, so they sent the request to their Canadian branch. Now all follow up has to be done from the Canadin branch of the bank. And there is no way for me to find out directly. I have to walk to the local branch and request verbally. After that they reach out to the Canadin unit by e-mail, e-mail response time is 24-28 hours and the they call me back. But, more often than not, after my verbal request they forget to send the e-mail. So, I have to remind them several times and get a positive answer only after 5-6 days. So, I have given up on trying that route. I will never use BOA again. If you can find from your banker, that will give some indication. I haven't seen a DD encashed if the application was not going to be approved. So, first they check the eligibility, if that is appropriate, only then they try to cash the DD. Once that comes through too, then they issue the AOR. Do let me know what you find out.

garian4u, the last follow-up i did on my bank was monday (its friday now in NZ), and according to the teller it hasn't been encash yet (it only took about 10mins for me to know). i'd probably check again by next thursday if i haven't receive anything from NS till early next week.

Congrats nz2ca!!! I guess only I am left now. But, since your case was actually Sep 24 case, so I guess I still have time. I guess, this week went slow, because they cleared lot of Credit cases simultaneously, which had been pending for 2-3 weeks. There is only a few hours left for today's EOD at CIO NS. I checked with my bank (painful process) and DD still not encashed. So, I guess the wait is going to be long for me.
