I read from another thread that presently, it takes an average of 55 days before we get reply from the CIO.

I submitted mine Sept 24.

CHOUHANS.....you can only pay Online if you are in Canada.....

Application fees
If you are in Canada
1. You can pay your fees online
You will need:

Adobe® Acrobat Reader software
a printer
a Visa®, MasterCard® or American Express® credit card, and
a valid email address.
When you are finished, you must print a receipt of payment and include it with your application. Be sure to print the actual receipt, not the “payment confirmation form” page.

Pay my fees online

2. You can pay fees at a financial institution in Canada
If you cannot or do not want to pay online, you must get an original receipt of payment form IMM 5401 so you can pay at a financial institution (such as a bank or Western Union). This form is not available online, so you must order an original receipt by mail.

You must include a copy of this receipt when you apply.

Order a receipt of payment (IMM 5401)

Note: If you are a federal skilled worker applicant, you must send payment to the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada. See the application guide for complete details.

You cannot pay online if you are applying under the Canadian Experience Class. Find out how to pay when you mail your application.

CPA2CANADA, The way I read those instructions (that you also qouted -thanks for that by the way...) is that regardless of whether you are in Canada or not, FSW can only be paid by sending payment (bank draft, CC form etc) to CIO in NS. One cannot pay online. CIO might be flexible on how they hand Chouhan's case but thats how the instructions seem to read.

Guys!

I have senior confirming that the ONLINE payment will go. It seems I have become an interesting case on the forum who has paid online and waiting for AOR! If this mode of payment goes through it would be a good example & would help many others.

And if it doesn't then that answers various posts and confirms that ONLINE payment is NOT an option for FSW applicants!

I will keep the forum posted...

Thanks.
