@ garian4u not till 23rd Sep cases has been cleared  coz. I m still waiting for AOR....but may be tomorrow will be my day .... but if we see Pasi timeline. His timeline is same as me....so I m getting worry that may be my application has some mistake....that's y they still didn't sent AOR ... hi friends, i am also one of the sep09 applicants, i posted my timeline earlier. but i am finding it difficult to get pcc from oman, as my employer wont issue letter for this. can i send my application without pcc? i have posted a seperate thread with this query but not many answers, thought maybe u guys may know something? can chc do verification from police themselves. for indian pcc i have already applied to the consulate here. its only for oman pcc that i am stuck:(

r.roy, I am not aware of the PCC rules in Oman. Can you please tell me why is an employer's letter required for a PCC? Does that mean, someone who is not employed cannot get a PCC? For instance what if someone's wife is not working and needs a PCC? Can you not directly approach the police and ask for issuing a PCC as you need it for Canadian immigration?

actually here thats the rule- you have to get aletter from your sponsor. no other gcc country has this rule. but its there over here, there is no way to get around my boss, the hr is also equally against it. in the past a few guys managed to get it directly from the police so now there has been strict instructions issued that they shoud not give a pcc if approached directly. but i cant just leave my job without another one in hand, so i was thinking of writing to chc london-if they can directly demand the pcc from authorities here, what else can i do-any ideas?

S.A - I got my AOR email on Friday.. hence you can expect to get something in the early next week.. try to find out if your DD has been encashed.. to my guess, it should have been done by now..
