I did not use cover pageas it was just a one page letter which had a few lines to be added in the application.

Well I made a mistake in Background declaration form (marked a wrong choice) so I wrote a covering letter explaining wht I did wrong in the first one and then attached an updated form. Not sure if I shud have done that cuz now I have started to think they'll consider my second form as second incomplete application. Seeing everyone around my timeline getting AOR is worrying me now.
I wonder if it has anything to do with payment method. I opted to pay by credit card and till date no transaction has been made against it. May be processing application with DD is faster than credit card.

Yuppieeeeeeeeeee GOT THE AOR today i have been given 120 days limit to forward my documents to New Delhi office for further processing.........

IInd stage started from 3rd nov till 3rd April for final submission.

My suggestion Do not waste 4 months for collecting and preparing the documents be ready or get all the documents by the time you send the initial doc's for CIO NS.

Yes a member Kabooterji whose file reached NS on September 12 got AOR. what is your NOC. cuz I don't understand why some files are processed earlier than others.

I called CIC, and they said that they are processing applications until 15th September.

My application arrived there at 1st Sep, and they said I need to wait 10 weeks. Now, it is only 8 weeks :((.

hi evryone,
My advice to all who r waiting for AOR is to keep all the documents ready except PCC. IELTS, exp cert etc. evrythin shud b ready when AOR  is received so that one can submit the documents to visa office early. this can reduce the waiting time.
