Hi Hitesh

Only way processing of our files may stop ( even if temporarily due to elections) if all visa officers (presuming all of them to be canadians national ) ACTUALLY  go to canada for exercising their vote.

otherwise they will remain on thier jobs....

Or don't they have postal ballot facility like in US .....

Hi Everyone,

Need advice. I have confusing situation.

My wife is 4 weeks pregnant And 2 weeks back I got Medicals and have to send  medical reports to CHC within 45 days. Should I go ahead with X-Ray for my wife or hold for 9 months. I don't know what to do.

After waiting too much time I got medicals ,now situations is bit different. Anyways we'll talk to gyne for advice.

If anyone have views . Pls share the same.

yes maybe u r right. what else could be the reason that no one is getting any replies from CHC ND since quite some time. are they busy enjoying IPL, HA HA HA

hi gpssim...

well bro..as far as I think only a single shot of xrays won't have any effect on either of the mother or the child..anyhow, ur gynae will be a perfect person to ask.

You knw doctors like surgeons, anaesthesiologists, even tech. assistant...these guys work in OT for more than 8 hrs daily...and work with C-arm machine, which produces xrays and they took multiple shots..while performing the procedure..even they don't get any bad effect...

xposure to xrays for a longer period of time can cause carcinogenic effect, but one time exposure is fine.

Don't worry, while taking an appointment for med's tell them. they will clearly ask you about pregnancy history. there is a line in forms about pregnancy, medications and surgical history. Tell your DMP, if possible carry your gynaec medical history forms. Even x-ray tech' ask b4 taking x-ray. as johny said, one x-ray doesn't give any bad impact. One chest X-ray is enough. Congrats for your medicals... and all the best for your next process. Smiley

 I think the election in Canada will not effect the working of CHC ND as they are working in india not in canada. and best of luck for 2morrow updates. Frds have faith in god. God will give everything what ever we want. hope for the best and B+ for the updates. savar da fal mitha hunda hai.

hi...you will get the right opinion from your doctor..x.rays are harmful for everyone especially developing foetus..it may alter the normal process of multiplication and cause problems...please don;t take chances..in ot..all have precautionary measures while exposing to direct xrays...
