File Transfered to Detroit, Medical has been done and eCAS not showing my case

Hello everyone.

here is my situation:

I have applied under CEC on January 2011. On July I received a letter from Buffalo with labels and asking for me to get my medical. Got my medical done and the results were submitted on Sept 20, 2011, cording to my Dr's Office.

I just contacted Buffalo to find out about my case, and they said (TODAY) that the file was transferred to Detroit. it also says that the application will be competed in Detroit and a Visa Office will determine if an interview will be required.

When does the officer decides on the interview? Before or after the medical?

On eCAS, there is nothing under my file number.

Anyone in the same boat? I am so confused.

When did your file moved to Detroit and what is your ECAS status?
Mine still shows that application in progress medicals received and started processing on Sep 26 2011.

Mine was sent on August 2011. I just got an email from Detroit stating that the medical results ave been requested from Ottawa. I have done my medicals on Sept 6, 2011 and the results have been to submitted to Ottawa, according to the Dr.

My application is truly taking a lonnnnnng time. At least Detroit responded and now I know whats the gig.

As I said earlier my file was initially submitted Buffalo on 21 June, Received medicals and AOR on Oct 3, send medicals NOV 9, seems my file moved back to buffalo again in December 2011, File transfers to Detroit office on FEB 22 2012. PPR requested on March 30 2012. sent passport to detroit on April 02.

At least u received ur PR request. m a June 1 application, our file started processing in January of this year. U guys r lucky received ur AOR / medical last year we did not receive it till this january.. medicals were sent out on feb 6 since than no answer. file went to ottawa this january now back in buffalo...

Typically 1 to 1.5 months after your file transferred to Detroit from Buffalo, you will received the PPR request.

I submitted my application to Buffalo in Apr 2011, Received FN/ME in Aug 2011 and did Medical right after. My application showed in Process on Jan 16 2012, File transferred to Detroit on Feb 28,2012, Then received PPR email from Detroit on March 29,2012.

So just be patient, if you dont hear anything in 1.5 months, email Detroit for more information. In terms of interview, mostly likely you wont need one.

So, I got an email today saying my Application is ready to be finalized and I should receive an email with final instructions within a week.

I am assuming that the PPR fee and passport request right?

how did you know that your file was transfered to detroit? did buffalo send you a email to notify the relocation, or they answered your case enquiry after you initiatively followed up your case.

Buffalo send me a email regarding to the file transfer. But its also normal that they dont notify you unless you do an inquiry on your case.

Yes. Basically they approved your immigration application, just wait for that email which contains a PDF file lays out the steps you need to take. Congrats!

My file was also transfered and my medicals were not showing on the eCas either.. as long the doc sent it you should be ok
