Hi ,
I am Arya Barun , a Bhutanese citizen, working and living in Singapore for the last ten years. After cotacting an Immigration consultant firm by phone and coming to  know from them that it would only take three years of processing time from Singapore, I hired their  services to file my Canadain Immigration case from singapore. Honestly, I did not do much research before taking this step. I paid the fees ,too. But the immigration consultant's office wrongly filed my case from CHC Delhi in August 2006 and within one month  I received the AOR,too. However, I got shocked to find the case filed from Delhi and informed the firm of their mistake and  requested them help transfer my case to Singapore CHC immediately because this has been the country of my residence. I live here with my spouse and kids .
I have been requesting for my file transfer ever since because I know CHC Delhi is the slowest in the world as regards its processing time for the immigration applications. I have the following two questions for someone exprienced to answer:

Now I fully understand that the normal  processing time is 4 years from singapore while it is 7-8 years from Delhi.

1) I have sent all necessary documnets to CHC Delhi to prove them I have been living in Singapore ( which ,I did in the beginning as well)  . I did this on the information I received from CHC through my Immigration consultant. In this situation, Will my file  have any chance of being transferred to Singapore? What is there in my capacity further to make the file move to Singapore?
2) CHC Delhi deals with cases of Nepalese and Bhutanese aplicants  apart from the cases of Indian applicants. Are the cases of Nepalese and Bhutanese appliants also put in the same basket and dealt with in the same way or are there different departments to finalise cases of different countries within the jurisdiction of the same CHC?

Sorry for being so lengthy. Thank you.

Hi,
Make a DIRECT request to CHC Delhi for transfering the case to Singapore with necessary documents.

Good Luck,
