file transfer from Buffalo
«

Hi:
I filed my PR application in skilled-worker catagory in June 2006 at
Buffalo ( I've been in US for the past year). I´m now getting back to my home
country. I´m afraid if I give them my address at home, they will
transfer my file from Buffalo to Damascus (which takes care of the files
from my country and has a very long processing time). Any advice is
appreciated.
Regards,
Fari

Dear Mr Fari
I can tell you what I did what I was in your situation, I was living in Kuwait and have filed my Skilled Immigration Case from Kuwait embassy then we have moved to Pakistan, but did not changed our address, we don't have to because we were having a lawyer, and he was receiving our Postal Mails from the Department, so I would suggest that if you have a lawyer then you don't even have to change your mailing address or let them know that u have moved back to your home country, your lawyer can make a request to move your interview ( if you get any ) to any where else beside USA if that's what your concerns are . Hope that will help Good luck .

Hi fari & Sam0130
I have never read that an interview were transferred from one embassy into another different country before, please, don't take this as to easy, you may ask an immigration expert in order to confirm this.
Also I have read that US does not issue visas for an interview.
Good luck!!
