Does anyone know what it means that file has been transferred from Buffalo to other visa office within the US? What does it imply regarding the fate of the application? Anyone having any experience please share.

They spread around the applications to different offices to spread the work. Generally, (i have heard) that the other visa offices in the US are faster than Buffalo, because Buffalo being the biggest takes on the most number of applications.

Can you please confirm if your file was transferred to the other office? or is it getting processed in Buffalo?  Looks like your status is changed to 'In process'

My status hasnot changed but I did get an email saying that my application is in process. It is in Buffalo.

I emailed them first because 52 weeks had passed and i was considering withdrawing if they hadn't started processing.

Your long wait is getting to the end, you might be receiving your medicals within few weeks, now we late 2009 Buffalo applicants are waiting in our long journey with Buffalo.
