My application got transferred on 27 April 2010. The 90 day period ended on 27th July 2010. Do you think it is a good idea to email and ask them?

I saw a post by rmdharan saying that some people got a reminder for medicals after that. I hope that I am not the unlucky one whose medical request got lost in the mail

I have sent an email to New York VO on Aug 11,I did not get any response from them.I observed in Anil's case was he got Medical request dated exactly 1 year after submitting the application (Aug 05 ,2009 recvd by CIO NS) ,if that is the case I'm expecting we should hear by end of this month.This is just my guess.

I think that you reserve the right to ask them what's going on!!! 90 days has passed and you hasn't received any updated except for the change to "IN Process" back in June 24. That's what I'm gonna do. I'm still waiting for them to process my app. It took them a month already and they'd done nothing .
If the Med Request were mailed, it would haven't been lost in the mail . At least they should send the Med request via courier, not normal postal mail.

If your 2nd notification does say that they should contact you after 90 days or you should wait for the next 90 days for a notification, I would suggest that you do enquire about the medicals. I was worried in my case if the mail got lost or something...so yea you should enquire.

Congrats ANIL, Mine was transffered to NewYork VO on May 26th, and changed to in Process from Jun 16th , so as per ur case i shud be getting Medicals sometime in next two weeks, Hope the same

Please let me know if they have asked for any extra documentations and what is the time period given to submit the medicals back

I have been requested to send a receipt from the DMP and the landing fee - certified cheque of $490.

No other documents are requested.

Guys,

Almost 4 weeks since medicals reached Ottawa. No update from NY VO. Can someone advise on how I can contact them to ask if they have received my medical from Ottawa.. Will they reply to phone or email? If so, what is the number or email address..

Getting uneasy with each passing day. Still not assuming that I will get the PR either. I'm a strong believer in 'If anything can go wrong, it will'!!

How did you track your medicals? I did my medicals on 12th Aug.....the place where i did the X-ray, the guy told me that the reports will be sent to the doctor in 3-4 days. So i am thinking the doctor will receive them today or tomorrow. Is there a way to request the doctor to send them via express shipments using fedex or DHL?

We received an email saying "your documents for medicals were mailed to you" in June 15, about a month after transfer to Detroit; it also said that interview was waived at this point. It took 15 days to get the documents (June 29th). Wait for your email... Good luck

I am getting more stressful after file transfered to NY,

File transfered to NY on 4th Aug but still it is not in process.....i want to go India in
November and i would like to bring my wife with me. I applied twice vistor visa and one time work visa for my wife but refused

wow...i was under impression that they just send it by post and no emails whatsoever...I read in some other thread that someone had medical request delivered to old Address and was came to know only after a month when he contacted VO.

So another disappointing week has passed and I haven't heard anything from NY VO . The status has stayed the same for more than a month now. I guess that I'm falling down to 30-40% percentile which application takes more than 10 months to finalize. (. So disappointed (. I'm the only one who was lagged behind when every other members move on to the next step.....
