Hi Jstar, Murthy07 and other waiting for medical,

I received my CAIPS file today. Essentially there is no new information. My PSDEC (Paper Screening Decision) is 1 => In process. My SELDEC (Selection Decision), MEDDEC (Medical Decision), FINDEC (Final Decision) all are 0 => not reached this stage.

I can also see that medical request is not yet made otherwise it is mentioned IMM 1017S Requested on ..... For me this date is not there. Also, my points are not calculated yet. Only points for Age are updated as 10.

However, there is one thing which is puzzling me. Can someone help? I am not able to understand the line "PAPER FILE SENT TO DJH  FILE BF'D TO: HSD ON XX-XX-XXXX".

Googling narrowed it to two options:
1) File was sent to visa office named DJH for review, and a person whose initials are HSD will look into it on XX-XX-XXXX.

OR

2) File was sent to person whose initials are DJH, and some action (like interview etc.) will happen on XX-XX-XXXX.

Basically I don't know if DJH is a visa office or initial of a person. Similarly I don't know if HSD is some action or initial of a person.

Let me know if someone has any idea,
MathCanada

I have no ideas, other senior members with Caips notes might have something to tell you. Good lick MathCanada, I believe that you will have it sooner or later Cheesy. Could it be security reason? or someone initial HSD or DJH might forgot processing your application??

Thanks smallduck! My security is cleared since BDEC is set to 1 as well. Frankly I can't see any thing wrong with my application (well everyone find theirs good).

It's just like I am unlucky or Canada is not for me Sad

If someone has any clue on what "PAPER FILE SENT TO DJH  FILE BF'D TO: HSD ON XX-XX-XXXX" means, then please let me know!

Thanks

Hi MathCanada,
PAPER FILE SENT TO DJH  FILE BF'D TO: HSD ON XX-XX-XXXX".

DJH is the visa office and the HSD is the visa officer initial and BFD is bring forward date.

I got the same thing in my CAIPS notes. No points calculated, no medical request, just only paper screening decision made.
Do not lose hope, something might happen by jan or feb.

Is there any reason why MathCan's file has been sent to DJH? It must be a reason, right?
I'm still waiting for the PPR, I guess it will take NYVO about 10-14 days to process the new police certificate from my home country and send out PPR.
Keep on fighting and proactively ask VO your application status Smiley...
