Hey Team, Finally I got Passport request email just now.. There was some confusion in my case as they said they did not receive my son's medicals.. though we did medical together and everything was send in one package.. anyways everything is good is end is good  so no complaint.. I want to say thanks to everybody who provided their input and guidance .. list goes very long but Quorax, Vermas, PMM, OMM to name a few. We should have a get together after landing.. I'm planning to go in person for stamping and will do the landing in the same trip.. I will come back again and will move finally in Aug .. do I need to pay income tax on income I will earn from the day I land and the day I finally move?  Thanks |

Hi All,
I received my FBI background check results in 4 weeks and i sent the originals to NY office and an email saying that i have sent the PCC to their office. I was going thru some of the posts and found that most of them are getting additional documents request along with Medicals, In my case i haven't received medicals and its almost 3 weeks now that i sent my FBI PCC and not heard any thing from them. Does any one has any clue on whats happening in my case. Is this a normal practice for them to ask for documents randomly or they are following some process which i am not aware of?
hey i have sent my FBI PCC and not heard any thing from Immi people till now. Is there any one who had gone thru similar situation? How long will they take to send the next request or Medicals after receiving the docs from us? any advice from seniors? |

Hello,
I have been a Silent viewer of this forum, had some great insight from your discussions. I live in atlantic canada, been waiting for my immigration for almost three years.
I received my medicals on 16/1/2012, my medicals was completed on 18/1/12 and sent to Ottawa on 27/1/12. I have been waiting for PPR for more than 2 months,
I have a quick question,
1) Is there a certain timeline for PPR after medicals?
2) Can i email the NY office on my update for PPR or I just have to wait for it?
It will be greatly helpful if some1 can answer this

You will have to tell them that you have already done your medicals in advance if possible with proof of medical done receipt. Send a CSE with a scanned copy of medical done receipt (if available) and ask them if you need to repeat the medical. In most cases they accept and will send you a PPR directly. Do you know that your medical have been received by Ottawa? If yes, mention the same in your CSE. Good luck friend! |

I received Passport request today by email. CIC gave 60 days to send the Passports and RPRF. Its little over 2 years since I embarked on this journey.
Thanks to numerous forum members who contributed directly or indirectly by educating me of the process and next steps.

Thanks for responding, I did scan a copy of the receipt from DMP along with with tracking # and sent a email last night. This morning I got a email from the VO saying that they sent a inquiry to medical services and another letter was mailed on 26th asking me to attend a interview on 30 April. Now for me that's a bummer. |
