Guys I got Passport Request Wooooooooooooooow..

I have a question for sending mail using courier services they say unless it is prepaid from a corporate account, we will not return your documents using any courier services (Fedex, UPS, DHL)??

Can anyone help in this .. how can I send them the passport using courier.. do the accept Fedex.

Congrates Sicko86, my medicals also reached ottawa on 19th Dec .. so I'm more hopeful now Smiley

one advice for courier, go for fed-ex only. Also put the return envelope inside so that you can track when they dispatch the stamped passport from NY.
Also take colored copies of entire passport and get it notarized (if can be done cheaply) for safety

All the best

Congrat Sick086,

would you happen to know whether your Ecas status has been changed before receiving PPR?
have you ever seen a line "Medical received" in your Ecas before?

Thanks,

I agree everyone can have an opinion on different topics but suggesting that an inquiry would result in pushing an application out of the queue is simply hysterical, especially in a digital age. In my opinion, making an inquiry if one thinks its outside standard processing time is required. That is the only way one can stay proactive. Due to human errors or technical error an application may be in doldrums. Its a way to bring back attention it deserves.
Dont be afraid to ask questions if it matters, just dont pester. My 2 cents.

Tell me about it. Simply hysterical so true on your part.

WAY to IGNORANCE.

Hi, SCARBOROUGH,

They started processing your file on November 29, 2011, right? It's more than a month. You file has been in MY office more than 90 days already. That's wired!

My file was transferred to NY office two weeks after yours, (your date is Oct. 5th, right?) and they started to process my file on Dec 7th, 9 days after yours. Both of our timeline are much much longer than regular timeline.

Do you think it's probably a background check or something?

I know another guy on "trackitt.com" is waiting impatiently like us. Let's keep each other updated! Thanks!

Eliza

Could be anything not too sure. According to the MP office and  my attorney they do background checks and send medicals.

Hello Guys,

I hope everyone is having a good 2012. Just to update from my side. I got medical instructions in Nov. 26. Received by Ottawa on Dec. 12. I received an e-mail from New York office to send my passport on January 10. Everyone waiting for medical or request for passport, have patience.

Best of luck to everyone.

I did not apply CAIPS yet. I may do it later.

It is very frustrating!! Many people got MR in 20 days after transferring, but we have been waiting for 3 months, no MR yet... The timeline shows our application should be finished in 23 month, but ours are more than two years already. What's going on there?!
