Brother Vermas, Just do your Medical test and do not worry.You have nothing to lose.You will receive your PR very soon and your Medical can not expire. It is only 70$ in New Delhi. Do that as soon as possible and let prepare your family and yourself for Canada. Good luck!  |

It seems that Buffalo has been transferring files of those applicants who received their first AOR from CIO, Sydney, NS during the period December 2009 - March 2010, perhaps to reduce the backlog and expedite MI-1 cases which were not moving. The satelite missions may not be as busy as Buffalo and they may still have some room left in their annual visa quota. No further movement is visible at NY VO but Detroit VO has started sending MRs within 2-3 weeks of transfer of files from Buffalo. Immigration quota for Federal skilled worker visa in 2011 is 55,900 ( http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/story/2011/02/15/pol-visas-skilled-workers.html). Annual quota under MI-2 (June 2010 - June2011) was 20,000 and under MI-1 (July 2011 to June 2012) is 10,000. That indicates there is room for MI-1s now. Cheers.. |

Hi Purkoni, Thanks for the encouraging comments, but I was not able to find section A with my DMP here.. he is saying it will come from immigration only as it will be having all details filled up I am planning to do advance medical in NY itself. I just received an e-mail as well that my files were transferred from Buffalo Visa Office to the one in New York City. I would appreciate if any of you whose files were recently transferred to New York City have heard anything from the Visa Office. I hope all of us who are waiting for any news, will be hearing pretty soon.

Going through threads indicates that Detroit has been issuing MRs for the recently transferred files. Has there been any such movement with cases transferred to NY VO? Is there a list of applicants who are waiting for MRs or PPRs from NY to compare and track timelines?

Hi Kurt0206, Can you tell me what are the things they send in package for medical request. basically if they asked demand draft and POF ?? did they ask your passport as well... or that is the next stage.. Thanks |

Any suggestions of a preferrable DMP in Toronto (or any DMP I should avoid).
Also I received instruction for payment of fees for "RIGHT OF PERMANENT RESIDENCE FEES". The NY VO letter provided a link for instructions regarding fee payments. The link is not working, any suggestions where I can get this information.
