I'm so sorry to hear it man. You should have had Med Req few months back. Is there any security problem with your files might slow the process down?
thanks for support,smallduck.. Wink
no, i shouldn't have any security problem. at least, not so far that i know myself Smiley...I come from europe,  never travelled to countries that they are afraid of. never had any criminal activites..Always worked/studied  at well established  companies/universities..
I really have no clue...
I ordered caips notes yesterday...
Anyway,whatever happens,happens for good..
Let me wish all people on this forum a Happy New Year!

actually.. they have sent it to my lawyer.. (most of the mail goes to his office so I don't have any problem if I need to move to a different appartment) I haven't yet touched the letter, but he sent a scan from it to my e-mail.. but it is a physical, touchable, paper letter.. It has a form with stuff to fill and instructions... I bet all the ppl who got it on e-mail are in a situation pretty similar to mine (mailing address set to lawyer's address)

basically they want the passport, 4 pics with a specific size, some more info from you (heigth in cm or feet, eye color, and mailing address and such).
dunno how long should take from the moment I send the passport and all, but shouldn't take too long. I'll be sending it tomorrow or after.. (you have 60 days to do it)

I think this is it..
I'll add more info later if I have anything.

regards

My attorney received it by email and they did not receive any physical mail. More over LA office asked 2 photographs each of the family members and not sure why they asked 4 from you ? I hope each Visa office works in a different way. Any how we received our PPR request. We sent our passports on 12/27 and it reached LA office on 12/28. Now I am waiting for my passports to be returned.

Best of luck to others who are waiting for PPR

Thanks

hi! i also sent passports and it was received in LA on December 20, by any chance do you know who signed for it when your passports were delivered?
Mine was signed for by M.Racine whose name is unfamiliar as all correspondences I sent previously was signed for by M.Forcier, the Receptionist listed in LA consulate's website.

Thanks Foreignsaurus,
I will have to look up my mail box in the next few weeks. NYVO received all requirement form me and there's no reason for them not sending me PPR Smiley
