Hi All,
I have one quick query. Normally, until anyone's file is not taken in to the consideration, it shows no status online on Canada Immigration website. (Correct me if I'm wrong). Is it so?

Secondly, if it shows that "In Process" Status online, what does it means? Does it means that the file is now opened & scrutiny is going on? How long it will take to get the feedback on opening of the file?

Please advise me.

Thanks,
Pompy

Your application is "In process "means it has been reviewed and accepted. All further formalities of Security, background and medical checks will be carried out accordingly while your file PROCESSING period. In case VO require interview or  any additional documents that would be notified to you during this period.

The time taken for each stage depends on your Visa Processing Office.
