File opened after Decision Made

Hi everyone,
This is just to inform if anyone has the same sort of situation;

My friend had applied for Permanent residance under FSW many months ago and was witing for his file number to get. But few days ago he got a decision letter frm CHC ND stating that his file is closed since he didn't send ful application within 120 days ( poor he...how could sent the entire doc. as he had not got any information about his file number).

As he talked to me on this matter I advised him to ignore this decision letter and sent an email at CIO with this email '' Dear Madam/ Sir, I am ...DOB...PP No...who had applied for Permanent Residence under...progrm on ....date and my application was received by that offoce on...date by Mr. Paul at that office according to the courior tracking number. As I inquired to the concerned bank The VPF has also got cashed already. But by this date I have not got any communication from that office on my application. So, would u mind informing me my latest application status? RGDS, ....''

Then, yesterday he got the reply expressing sorry that they had already sent him the 1st AOR on ...date and his file has recently got closed as it crussed 120 days. But it was due to their technical problem that the email had not been delivered to his email id . so he could send his full application within 120 days since 12 Jan 2011 onwards and they will stop refunding his VPF by then and they will keep the file opened by that time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good news.....,
Now he had already got his decision letter frm CHC ND and should he inform to CHC ND  before sending doc.( as it will take time to collect all doc.)that he is going to send full application during this period or can he send the full application as soon as all doc. wiill got prepared?

He should send full docs ass soon as he has the document ready in my opinion

I second with Senior Ankit... The sooner the better.. He should consider this as a revert back chance in his life....All the best for him

He has to send the full document within the 120 days. It was so rare that VO entertains any extensions.

no need of informing chc nd now. after he has prepared full docs include CIC correct email in the package and write that thing in cover letter that it was mistake he didnot receive first AOR email.

He need to send the letter (received from CIO expressing sorry and technical difficulties......) to CHC New Delhi...

This will keep a track on ND office also. Anyway they will be aware of the letter sent to ur friend....

Ask your friend to send the full docs asap and also attach the communicaton printout where CHC has mentioned they have reopened the file.
