Good day!

We applied as an immigrant to canada and already received a first notice containing a file number. We want to know then about the status of our application. We tried to find it thru e-CAS but our file number wasn't registered yet.

Hope to hear from this matter.

Thank you very much and God bless!

Hi there Eduardo,

We applied from Philippines. Our papers was already submitted to Canadian Embassy Manila Philippines. The embassy have decided then in our case to process our apllication under the simplified system. What does it mean?

Hope you will give us any info about simplified system and hear from you about the status of our application.

Thanks in advance and more Power!

Regards,

Hi
SAP stands for Simplified Application Process. As the name implies, it is a simplified process in the terms that you donot need to send your documents at the time of making application. Just a simple plane application form will do. Later when CIC is ready to review your case you will be notified to provide documents. At that time only you will be needed to update information and provide documents.
Please see www.cic.gov.ca for related forms and guides.
Thanks
Cool
