hello,
  it's urgent.i have sent initial application with relevant documents to CIO,torronto in July 2010.I haven't got file no yet.please help me ....

It has been so long. You should have got your file no.(AOR) until now.

Send an email to CIC and find out. Mention your Name, Date of Birth and Country of Birth in email. Since file no is not alloted, you need to provide this information to trace your file. Send an evidence of courier receipt.

Did you check your emal box regularly, including spam and junk folder?

You can also call CIC and tell them your problem. The person on line in CIC might ask you above details (Name, Date of Birth and Country of Birth etc)

BTW, what about your DD or CC payment? is it cashed? if yes, when?

Since there is no CIO in Toronto, I hope you sent them to CIO Sydney Nova Scotia.  If you sent them to Mississauga Ontario, who knows when they will be returned.

Yes PMM is right. Where did you send ur application? Write down the address here. You did it or ur consultant?

Application was sent to CIO Sydney Nova Scotia by my consultant. this is my address written on application : Nr, *censored word*al Guest House, C-7/8, R. Chamber, College Road, Old N.H.#8, Bharuch- 392002, Gujarat, India.
