Hi,
I'm German and currently have a 1 year open working visa under the youth mobility program. I'm living together with my Canadian girlfriend and she is going to sponsor me as her common-law partner. My visa expires a month down the road, now to my actual question: can I stay in Canada while my application for the PR is being processed or do I have to leave the country as soon as my work visa expires?
If I would have to leave the country what options do I have to be able to stay after my work visa expires?
