Hi, I'm newbie here and I have some questions to old, experienced members  Smiley
1. I was working as a boom truck crane operator in  my country for more than 1 year, but I don't have a license to a crane in my country.
It's ok, if I only join to application a references and list of my duty from my employer? I think you can't because lots of people have work experience in a profession which doesn't match their education, but that is only related to professional categories. Crane operator is little doubtful for me. Individual must hold a driving licence to drive a car otherwise driver is breaking law similarly  to operate a crane, the operator need licence and I don't think any country allows to operate crane without proper licence

2. I'm in Canada on IEC. Can I aplly inside Canada? if eligible yes (because IEC is similar to working holiday program), Look for PNP option esp if you know french then Quebec

3. It's hard to get a AEO in Ontario? if applicant meets the requirement than not difficult

Pls reply guys! Thx

1. If you are applying as a crane operator, you have to prove that you were one. Some countries mandate licenses, like canada. If your country mandates it but you have been working without it, get a license before applying or dont think about it.

2. IEC ? International Experience Canada? France or England? if france, try for Quebec PNP, the fastest. If not, go regular, and most imp, if you apply now, you will have to wait for 18 months in canada, so if your stay is sure for that long, go ahead.

3. it is not hard to get AEO in ontario, as long as you and your employer meets all criteria.

if Poland doesn't have a mandatory licence requirement for the type of crane you operate than go a head.

I agree with zulkfal and MCBoy. Want to add my points additional to these:

1. Does Poland requires licence for crane operators?? If yes than you better get the license and than apply as it will be difficult to prove the same(just think of a doctor without a degree). If Poland doesn't require licence than get your experience certificate and references and apply.
2. Holiday work permit is for 6 months maximum. Processing time is between 6 to 12 months. It will be much better if you apply from your home country.
3. Crane operator is in the 29 occupations currently listed for FSW. You won't need AEO to apply if you get sufficient points.

As you are in Canada you can try to get Canadian license too. Crane operator is a high demand occupation and very few people have applied in this category. So it will be much easier for you to find a job.

Also enroll in English and/or language classes to improve your language skills.

Best of luck!!!!!!!!

Given a chance I would apply in Poland. Warsaw is the fastest Visa Office.

1. Yes, Poland requires licensce for crane operators.

2 Actually holiday WP is for 12 months in Poland but if I apply, I do it from Poland Wink

3. Urfontunately I don't have enough points, so I need a job offert.

OK, if I obtain a license for crane operator for exmple in June 2011, this date will be physically printed on the license, but I was work as crane operator from March 2010 to April 2011. It will be obvious that I was working without license. Do you think it will be fine?

1. Yes, Poland requires licensce for crane operators.  if you operated crane without WP then sorry your experience might not be counted

2 Actually holiday WP is for 12 months in Poland but if I apply, I do it from Poland Wink   Try to work hard for IELTS, I am affraid you might be not able to score good points

3. Urfontunately I don't have enough points, so I need a job offert. if no licence or not enough point than you need and LMO and for that you need a job offer
