HI!

We were asked to send our passport for visa stamping last month and we were called today to pay for the releasing of our passport I'm just curios why do we have to pay 50 thousand pesos for the release does it mean it has already been stamped??

There are 2 fees that you need to pay
CAD 550 for processing (it is 150 for children)
CAD 490 for Right to Permanent Residence (RPRF) (no fees for children)

I believe they are asking you for RPRF. They generally ask for RPRF along with Medicals or PP request

It was actually for the landing fee so does it mean it has already been stamped?

Not necessarily. They ask for the RPRF (Landing fees) before stamping. In most cases this fees is asked at time of medicals or requesting PP. In most cases you get the Visa when Medicals, PP and RPRF is requested
