Yesterday I received a chaque from Receiver General of Canada of 550 CAD for my fee refund, because my case for Skilled worker has rejected.

I want to know, from where I cash it? From bank or from money exchanger?

Anyone please suggest.

Hi,

You need to deposit the cheque in your bank account.

I doubt whether you can encashed it as it will be crossed cheque....?

No it is in $, and i think Canadian $

it can't be, are you sure, didn't you ask them to send in pakistani rupees??

if this is the cse then it would be difficult to encash, do you have account in canadian dollars

ask any money changer now if he can encash but i don't think any body can encash personal cheque??

you can do one thing now, open a bank account in canadian dollars and deposit the chque

thx

The Canadian Dollar is very high right now compared to USD, so you may have "made money" on the amount since you sent it to CIO some time back.  Good luck with your future plans.

Dost,

Just take it to your bank and they'll guide you better.
