One of my friend got his approval from CIO. In his initial application he mentioned his spouse and child as non-accompanying. He also claimed points for spouse education but did not know that points are for accompanying spouse only. He has to submit full application to visa office in coming days and he want his spouse to include as accompanying to get points.

Question is can he change her from non-accompanying to accompanying NOW at visa office stage before sending whole application and supporting documents and need another DD for spouse 550 plus 150 for child?

Will the visa office have any kind of objection on this?

can do... there will be no issue..

in fact most agents in India get it donein this manner so that in case of rejection at CIO stage, less amount of money is held up by CIO

I am not an expert. I have learnt from www.cic.gc.ca, EG7, OP6 and this forum. Use these resources and take your decisions.
