Federal skilled worker - applied to Nova Scotia in Mar 2009 and then to Buffalo

This is a new thread for people who applied under the new FSW program to Nova Scotia.
I applied to NS in March 2009

got a reply in 2 weeks from NS

applied to Buffallo with full application set and all documents in the first week of April 2009

Buffalo acknowledged the receipt of app and docs in a week

Since April 9th, E-CAS status shows ' Received by VISA office' and the case in pending review

Please write your experiences here. Again, this is for people who applied this year under the new guidlines (38 job categories) to NS and then to Buffalo

I send  all the documents to Buffalo on 1st sep 09 and recieved the AOR on 23rd Sep 09, saying  that they will review the file one more time to determine the elligibility and will let us know accordingly. There is no mention of how long this process is going to take or what are the steps we should expect...

Hello Ramkumar, I have applied to NS in September 2009 and waiting for reply. you seem to have got it in a very short time.. congrats and my best wishes for getting it approved from Buffalo also.

NS was fast but Buffalo seems to be very slow. Have been waiting for 6 months now with no change in the status. still says ' case pending review '
