Federal Immigration Application

I am a recent graduate from Canadian university and working as a contractor for a local company in Calgary. I have my own registered trade name(sole proprietorship). If i have more then one year of Canadian work experience (co-op and internship), can i still apply for PR even though i have my own business. Can i apply under the federal skilled worker class???
