I have seen on this thread that it is better to send the passport via FedEx, do we also send a prepaid envelop for the return and how is it done? What do I request for exactly at the FedEx office? Please help!

Use Canada-post Express. It costs 38$, they will give you two envelops, one for sending the passport and the second one for returning it, the second will be embedded in the first one.

I did that when i applied for Visa at Detroit

U can't use Canada post for return from Seattle. They only return by FedEx or by regular mail ,(first class, I think)
Check my previous posts plz cz I answer from my mobile.I'm at my sister home and she doesn't have internet. You can also check this link the answer is there

ok this is very weird, I was out of town and just checked my mailbox. Buffalo sent me a single bar code (same as the ones we receive with our AORs) and a receipt for the fees I paid dated the day they received my file. Did anybody else get this?  Any idea guys?

Weird fairooz but I haven't. Buffalo must be acting wierd... what else to expect from them!!

Anyways make sure you read the email properly, it might just be a request for Passport. Read it carefully and look for clues like "passport" and "request".

Or else send them an email asking "what's that?". Who knows, they might answer w/ PPR. This is given they get their sense back in order  Smiley

Also, I think this week we'll see the new timeframe for Federal processing. We are indeed in Q4 and I'm about to celebrate 13 months since I sent my app.

Ah my sister I wish they had emailed me Smiley All they sent was a sheet of paper with my barcode in the front and the receipt printed in the back. No other text, instructions or anything. I sometimes think Buffalo is teasing and testing us to see just how badly we want this PR Cheesy Ah well, nothing worth having is easy to get right?

Congrats Que100 on your landing and all the best for a bright future ahead! Smiley

Hi, guys,

After the medical exam, do we need to mail the receipt of the ME to Buffalo or Ottawa?

Thanks.
