speaking of CAIPS what are your Bring Forward date (BF'd) folks? maybe we can compare them to kind of keep hopes and dreams alive... .

Am kind of losing it all

Does your CAIPS look different from mine?
I cannot find Bf'd in my CAIPS

yes, unfortunately. and i don't recall seeing BF'd on yours wcikkk

when you request yours make sure you check what's under Privacy Act. i mean "Receive copies of the records" and in which language ("As is", "in English" or "in French")
At first when i didn't know what's what, I also checked "Receive copies of the records" under the "Access to Information Act"
Since we're not paying the $5 mind as well get it all at once Smiley

Then under "REQUEST FOR" select CAIPS and fill in the Embassy and your File#. As a measure of protection, I always add my Client ID on the next line but do not tickle anything on the left side.

Finally, do not forget wcikkk to mention your status on the form by selecting whose "this request is being made by" and provide your information. Then fax the form or mail it out... remember you don't have to send a copy your permit again.

Gg night folks and have a nice day 2mr

Also, why are other Visa Offices (such as London and New Delhi) working faster and not Buffalo??? From what I can see, these offices also deal with huge amount of applications periodically!!!!!

Buffalo man... Sad

I wish I had any answer to these questions , but  ...sorry !  Fella, we have not much options here , we have  to wait and hope.
I used to wait as if something is  going to happen, but.... at last, I just put my case in the hand of God and  moved on with other activities in my life.  Give Buffalo all the time they need (it is the only choice I see in my case) ...

Have a nice  day.

Hey guys, there is no preferential treatment for provincial nominees. I submitted my application in january and I haven't received any communication. If you are already in Canada count yourself lucky. I got my nomination last year and completed a whole masters program while waiting to move to Canada.
Thanks

Being in Canada does not automatically make things alright. Just like Malcom X said :“Sitting at the table doesn't make you a diner, unless you eat some of what's on that plate....”. I

Imagine a litte bit sitting at the table , with a big plate in front of u , and a nice shinny fork , but no right to touch the food (or may be the right to just have leftover only)! ... Welcome to my world !  Careful, not everything that shines is gold , dear !

Hello guys,

Congrats Freedom4ever, your story keeps our hope going. Have a great life ahead in Canada Smiley

Its been a while since I posted, but I always took time to read the thread because I get a lot of moral support from all of you Smiley I got my CSQ two months ago, but my federal application is delayed because i am still waiting for the police clearance certificate from my country Sad Everything else is ready. Its really frustrating sometimes. But thats life  I guess.

Will keep you posted.

Take care

Dear friends, I have some questions

I have studied full time in a collage for the past 8 months, and now I am undertaking internship for 2 months. As you might notice I also applied PR, got CSQ last august and put federal application to Buffalo on Sept 2010 (I am in ae03yy list as well).

My question is,
1. since I have completed my academic part but have not finished with the internship portion, can I still apply for post-graduate work permit?

2.  I read in the CIC site that in order to apply for post-graduate work permit I need to have valid student permit, .... what is that mean, is that mean I need to have 8 months period valid study permit to cover the length of my post-graduate work permit? (cause I notice that the length of PGWP will be equally the same with the length of your study?)

my problem is, both my current study and student work permit will expired end of august.... and as I mentioned that I still need to undertake internship until end of August as well.... so is that mean I have no possibility to apply for post-graduate permit?

If any one has knowledge in this matter, please share it with me. Any info will be appreciated Smiley

Hey Nkusi
Guys I totally agree with your point of view. I was just trying to encourage you. Am stuck in the states in the wrong job and my everyday hope is that I will get the PR and move even if it means being jobless and starting over again.
thanks

okwama2002

I feel ur pain cz i'm in same situation. I came to the point where i keep asking God the je ne sais quoi to do my work the next day with joy and peace. Maybe my boss doesn't like me and waits for me to make a mistake. However, students love my way of teaching and even staffs know my value y'know! Recently, he sent me home without notice and took me off schedule for a month. Before that he managed to not give me any new student (maybe he feared we would get acquainted to one another). Now he hired new teachers and despite my seniority I'm gettin the "left over"... Like he'll give hours to Canadians and PR holders and if anything is left he'll ask me to work. Since i started back last week, i made either $30/$40 a day working only 2 hours when others get way more. Am stuck and my everyday hope & pray I'll make through the following day... till PR.

So, hang in there no matter how tough your situation might be and let God brings justice to you on his timing.

Thanks okwama2002 & ae03yy for encouragement.
I guess that part must be the hardest in this waiting game: knowing that one has the ability to live his life , but being stuck because  of the PR and  ... these  delays .. Huh Angry

But hang in there , fellas,  God will make a way in his time.  Smiley

Have good night , ya  all !
